- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I haven't had a lot to say about Bleach lately, which is partly because the new characters haven't really caught me and partly because I've been sinking into my favorite pairing for the series, which is sort of all I've really wanted lately. Ichigo/Orihime is rapidly approaching being a complete OTP for me, so I thought, what the hell, I'll go look for some fanart, see if there are any new sites around. Not much later, I stumbled over this site, which has some fantastic art, it's very much in KT's style but still enough with the artist's own spin on it, that I just love it. The art is so bright and clean and cute, which is almost sort of a necessicity for any happy pairing with Orihime. The artist uses those same shades of warm oranges that both the characters have and makes them really sweet and nice and then draws the characters kissing at sunset or lounging around in a bed together. It wasn't enough that there was Ichigo/Orihime fanart? They actually get to touch each other, too? a;sldalkjslakjsdf HAPPINESS. Though, really, as much as the site touched my OTP fangirl, it's actually really solid, pretty art. (Ichigo/Orihime, a little Ulquiorra/Orihime, a tiny smidge of Renji/Rukia. Some not safe for work content in a small handful of images.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I really tried to avoid recommending this site, mostly because there wasn't a lot of art in the gallery proper, there were way more comics (even if they were really beautifully drawn) and so I wound up just skimming the site... until I decided, oh, what the hell, I'll at least scan the first few pages of the artist's oekaki board. And that's where I was sunk, because I'm a sucker for pretty Orihime fanart and the artist draws these really super-cute illustrations with Orihime and kitty!Ulquiorra. The main gallery has some super-fantastic Arrancar illustrations (I love the sharp colors and clean lines ♥), but it was Orihime being pretty on the oekaki page that totally made me cave. There's also some very nice Aizen/Gin fanart tucked away into various corners of the site (that always makes me happy <3) and... well. It's not precisely my pairing yet, but the idea of Ulquiorra/Orihime fanart is growing on me, if it means getting pretty Orihime fanart like this. <3 Also, the site is totally worth it for the image of Aizen with chibi!Arrancar sleeping on him. SO. CUTE. (Ulquiorra/Orihime, some Aizen/Gin, some Tousen/Grimjoww.)

- Bleach - Xenon [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - [Note: This site will have NSFW content on it.] This site is not going to appeal to everyone and I felt the art started out a little shakey, but I was in such a mood for Aizen/Hinamori this afternoon that I was willing to push through with it a little more. I think the art gets a lot more interesting, the artist has some really cool little pieces, her lines are actually pretty good if a bit all over the place and she can draw some really evocative pieces. My favorite is probably the one with Aizen propped up on one elbow as he looks down at a sleeping Momo curled up next to him. Either that or the Halloween one where Momo's wearing his oversized cape and it's just sort of darling and cute. There's a lot of nudity on the site (a lot of it), but given that there's hardly any graphic Aizen/Hinamori content elsewhere, I find myself not really minding that, especially since it's not as much the loli version, Momo actually looks like she's got a rack and hips, you know? The site had a few pieces that I really liked, that's good enough for me. ♥ (Aizen/Hinamori, NSFW content.)

- Bleach - [ English Fanart Site ] - This is another devART account where I've been watching the author for awhile and I'll grab up any Ichigo/Orihime illustrations she does for the bits&pieces section (and will probably continue to do so) because they're really lovely. The colors are these pretty oranges and golds, there's almost a shining effect to them, but what I love most is... how much detail and strength is put into the artist's work. I especially love her Shun Shun Rikka Christmas illustration, it's so delightful for those two. ♥ They're just very solid, strong images, they're actually very interesting to look at! That doesn't happen nearly enough for Ichigo/Orihime art. And her Gin/Matsumoto art is very nicely done as well and you can occasionally find other pairings (like Renji/Rukia) or stand-alones (like Nel) among the art, too. (Ichigo/Orihime, some Gin/Matsumoto, some other het.)

- Bleach - [ English Fanart Site ] - This artist isn't my usual style of art that I look for, but I was browsing devART and came across Take Me Home, which hit all my Ichigo/Orihime shipper buttons like whoa, with the way he was carrying her home and the bright colors used for their hair and the way she was leaning on him and how pretty Orihime looked. I'm a sucker for my Bleach OTP, okay? But there's also the Renji/Rukia Coffee Addicted that caught my attention and the really very nicely detailed Hanging Out, all of which pulled me in in their own ways. Part of the appeal was the shipping aspect, of course, but it's also just a fun, interesting little site that was enjoyable to go through, devART always needs more of those. ♥ Plus! The artist has put all the Bleach art into one catagory and OMG I love that ability of devART's! (Some Ichigo/Orihime, some other het pairings, some gen.)

- Bleach - [ English Fanart Site ] - I went back and forth on this artist's Bleach art, but eventually a few things won me over. There's a decent amount of art here and, the more I looked at the full views of the illustrations, the more I came to really kinda be impressed by them--like with Summer, Orihime looks beautiful in the close-up view. Or it could be something like Newlyweds where Shinji and Hiyori make one of the greatest couples ever, holy shit. And OMG there's even Byakuya and Hisana art! *___* So it's one of those where I think you need to see the images in full view and it'll grow on you until you start seeing all the cool things about this art, I was totally having fun here. ♥ (No real pairing themes, several various het pairings, though.)

- Bleach - ragtimes [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I actually came here for the Gundam 00 art, but was curious enough about the Bleach section to start clicking on the links and asl;dkfjalskjslk Hitsugaya and Matsumoto art yessss. And I love that the artist's favorite is clearly Matsumoto and it's wonderful when the Bleach women get the focus of a site occasionally! I also love that Hitsugaya looks a little older here, still recognizably himself, but now I don't have to feel squidgy when looking at the not-quite-R-rated stuff! The artist starts out a little rough, but gets some really cool and really interesting pieces going, by the end I really thought the style was very pretty and would love to see more from them. <3 (Hitsugaya/Matsumoto.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I really, desperately wanted some pretty Orihime art this morning. So, I braved my way back into the j-fanart sites to look for more of it and asldkfjaslkjskj if nothing else, I'm glad for this pairing because PRETTY ORIHIME ART. I love the artist's uses of black/white/orange together, the way the slick and glossy colors are so pretty. Plus, there's a handful of Orihime images by herself (in a black shirt or in a bikini or, hell, even an occasional Rukia/Orihime b&w sketch) and that really won me over. I grudgingly admit the UlquiHime art was very pretty, I suppose. *g* (Ulquiorra/Orihime, some other het pairings.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - No, seriously, I am so incredibly weak to Orihime art (and desperate for it) that I'll just eat up sites that normally wouldn't be to my personal tastes otherwise. The art here starts out sketchy and a bit simple, but I actually really liked the way it looked, the almost watercolor-like style at times, the way her hair flowed all through the images, the way the colors were very vivid at other times. There was a nice, warm feeling to several of them or else sometimes they reminded me of Halloween, which was perfect for today. (Not that they were Halloween-esque in nature, but the black/orange/white scheme reminds me of it.) I think... if I were a bigger fan of this pairing, I'd have been a lot more squeeful about this site, but, hell, even as it stands, I enjoyed the lovely Orihime art. (Some Ulquiorra/Orihime, some Orihime gen, a smidge of Hitsugaya/Matsumoto.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Moar Orihime art! Which does start out small and a little in need of tightening, but there's a lot of potential in this artist's lines right from the beginning. Plus, Orihime being cute! And I never quite lost my ability to be intrigued by Grimmjow/Orihime! And I do think Ulquiorra's design is interesting from a visual standpoint! Actually, I think some of my favorites from this site might have been the GrimmHime ones just because they're so well-done, the artist really ramps up their game for those. The rest of the art is really cute, but I totally got my kicks from being an Orihime fan on this site. (Grimmjow/Orihime/Ulquiorra mix-and-match, some Nnoitra/Tesla, some gen.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Granted, this site is going to be for fans like me, who a) love Orihime to little bits and b) are over the moon for Ichigo/Orihime. The artist has a very... when I was going through the gallery, I was actually rather strongly reminded of shoujo manga-style covers, which the artist has a strong sense of for me. It's not necessarily what everyone will go for, but I was pleased with it on this one site. Plus, you know. Ichigo/Orihime art, my fangirl heart wants it. And I really did like the super cute sketches on this site, I'd like to see more from this artist. (Ichigo/Orihime, some Grimmjow/Orihime/Ichigo triangle stuff.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I sat on the fence with this site as well for awhile and wound up scanning quickly over a lot of the images, I admit. But there was enough art here that was just darling that I eventually wound up slowing down and taking my time properly--especially the Orihime art. (I have my weaknesses, I know.) There's a fairly decent selection of various Hueco Mundo-centric characters here, but it was the soft, glowing colors on the Orihime (and Ulquiorra/Orihime) art that really sucked me in; some of it is SO CUTE. But it's also that there's a super cute Aizen/Orihime image! And a darling little formal wear Grimmjow/Orihime image! There's a lot of Arrancar art if you're into that as well. <3 (Mostly gen, but some Ulquiorra/Orihime, some other/Orihime het.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This site follows in the trend a lot of my previous recs fell into--I sat on the fence with this one for a bit, but ultimately there was enough cute Orihime art that I couldn't resist. I tended to like the sketches and oekaki art the most, because it showed off the really super cute style the artist had and there were a lot of them. A lot of art (to the point that it takes me awhile just to view all of them) can really win me over with just about anything. (Ulquiorra/Orihime, some gen.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Well, I had to be won over to this site, didn't I? Cute Orihime fanart, then some really lovely Byakuya/Rukia art, and then the artist even tossed in a smidge of Hitsugaya/Matsumoto art! I definitely came here for the Orihime art--and the artist does a nice job with the glossy orange/white/black that often comes with UlquiHime--but wound up staying for the artist giving me three pairings I don't get all that often and all of them are really kinda pretty. Some illustrations are admittedly prettier than others, but the artist here shows so much potential and occasionally has some really lovely stuff. That's all I wanted! <3 (Ulquiorra/Orihime, Byakuya/Rukia, some Hitsugaya/Matsumoto.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - You know, it's sites like this one that make me wish I were more into this pairing, because I think I'd have been over the moon for this site if I were. It admittedly starts out a little shakey, but gets some really cool and interesting stuff going on by the end. The artist is less about the glossy orange/black/white theme and tends more towards cool blues and soft whites, but I like that style and she really works it well here. Plus, wow, there is SO MUCH ART that it took me ages to go through. Overall, this was a really solid site with some charming stuff and I got my Orihime fix! (Ulquiorra/Orihime.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I feel like I've been to this site before, but maybe I've just seen art similar to this artist's work or something. And the site is more of an Ulquiorra site, rather than an Orihime site (which is what I was looking for tonight), but... well, the art is really beautiful and there was enough of her to give my fix, so I had to cave on it. The artist does these glossy, sharp blacks and whites that look really good on the characters, occasionally mixing in some softer colors that also work with it. It's a really lovely site that I'm glad to have stumbled over today. (Ulquiorra/Orihime.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I sat on the fence with this site for awhile again because there wasn't a whole lot here and it wasn't super, super winning me over at first. Oddly enough, it was the log art that finally got me to cave, because it was in that same interesting style that I associate with Ulquiorra/Orihime art. Plus, you know. Orihime is so pretty. I'm so easy for her. By the time I was finished with the site, I'd added a bunch of art to my collection and enough of them had impressed me that I had to. It's a decent-sized, but lovely little site. <3 (Ulquiorra/Orihime, occasionally a little NSFW.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Another site that had me on the fence for awhile because the art does start out a little rough. But what won me over was a couple of things... first, the art improves steadily as the artist goes, you can really just see her getting better and better as you go through the gallery. The second was that there was occasionally a little NSFW-ness with Orihime and I have my weaknesses, okay. By the end of the site, when the artist was getting more into a lighter shade of sepia-esque colored images or stronger uses of her lineart, I was much more won over. All in all, it was a nice site to view this afternoon. (Ulquiorra/Orihime.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Okay, the image of Urahara and Yoruichi flinging themselves onto a long-suffering Kaien that was the first image I saw? I knew I would have to put this site on my list. Not to mention that there's juuuust enough Urahara/Yoruichi to make me happy, even if they're not really the focus of the site. Not that there is a focus, it's a collection of various Shinigami characters (though, Shuuhei is a recurring character and a fair amount of Shuuhei/Renji art that even I had to admit was really pretty) and not a huge site, but decent sized. I had a lot of fun, there's some interesting stuff here. (Some Shuuhei/Renji, some Urahara/Yoruichi, some other Shinigami pairngs, both het and yaoi. Also some gen.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Do you know what I'm kind of developing a taste for, after looking at so many fanart sites? The idea of Aizen/Orihime. (In fanart, at least.) There is something about this artist's oekaki art that just... it's not always on the ball for me, but when it is, there's something about it that really draws my attention and makes me think its really hot. It's a little spindley at times, but the artist makes that style work for her, almost in a semi-stylized-esque sort of way. Plus, hey, multi-shipping with Orihime! I am totally down with that! Though, it's more than just that. There's a lot of art here and with several different pairings (a couple of Aizen/Momo images! an Urahara/Yourichi image! Byakuya and Yachiru! Renji and Rukia naked as he puts a blanket over her!) and all of it is just really kinda cool. That kind of site jazzes me back up for a fandom. (Mostly Ulquiorra/Orihime and Gin/Matsumoto, but some Grimmjow/Orihime and Aizen/Orihime. Some other het pairings mixed in occasionally. Some gen if you step carefully.)

  - Bleach - [ English Fanart Site ] - So, somehow... browsing around for gen Bleach fanart leads me to Byakuya/Rukia art. Well, I'm hardly going to complain. Especially when the artist draws the two of them in all sorts of different eras and costumes and situations--including them in the future, where Rukia's hair is a little longer and there's a baaaaaby! (Shut up, I love babyfic and babyart, okay, I am not ashamed of this.) The artist does a really good job of capturing enough of Kubo's style to make them very recognizable and keeping something of a subtle, almost quiet feel to their characters, even in epic situations. Some of the art is really just fantastic and then there's several hugs and curled up in bed together and it's like the artist wanted to make me happy today. ♥ There's also some gen/a few other pairings, but I think you'd really come here for the ByakuRuki more than anything. (Byakuya/Rukia, some gen if you skim quickly.)

- Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I've been hesitant to start recommending from non-traditional fanart sites proper, but... well, I couldn't resist. This artist does fantastic work for tegaki, which is all mouse art, which makes it a lot harder to find the good stuff. But the artist does a fantastic job with the Nnoitra/Neliel pairing, I had to! I originally came here for the Sailor Moon image the artist had done, then saw there were some fantastic Hitsugaya/Matsumoto pieces and, then, from there, it was hard to miss all the Nnoitra/Nel stuff. There's a lot of it here as well and the artist does a really fantastic job of capture Kubo's style with all her work, making it fun to go through all the gallery pages. Sigh, I do forsee spending a lot more time on tegaki again, though. Boo. Oh, but! It was totally worth it for the high school au images! Those were kind of awesome. (Nnoitra/Neliel, some Hitsugaya/Matsumoto.)

&nspb; - Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I stumbled over the link for this site tonight and got caught up in it pretty quickly. I'll warn ahead of time that it's not going to be for everyone, but it's got a lot of Ichigo/Orihime and Ulquiorra/Orihime art and, well, god knows I'm weak to anything with Orihime in it. Though, it was around the time I stumbled over the one Aizen/Hinamori image a fair ways into the gallery that I knew I was going to heartmark this site kind of a lot, since it's right up my alley. The artist isn't perfect, but she's improved over time and her art is really cute in places, and she's got a ton of potential, so I really, really want more from her. ♥ Plus, hey, there's a cute little RukiHime lurking a ways into the gallery links! I will do a lot for cute RukiHime art. :D<3 (Ichigo/Orihime, Ulquiorra/Orihime, some other het pairings, some gen.)

  - Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - After the previous site, I was in the mood for Bleach fanart again and Orihime art is always my first choice for when I'm feeling up to fanart surfing. I stumbled over the link to this site and started clicking through it and was slowly won over by it--it's not going to be a site for everyone and there were several images that I skimmed over, I'll admit. (And I think this may be a re-rec? Eh, either way, it's worth a whirl through again.) But the artist has a lot of potential and her sketch art can be really beautiful and there's an occasional piece that's just really beautiful. The site might be a little uneven at times, but overall the artist is very talented and knows how to draw Ulquiorra and Orihime really well and her almost sepia-toned images are especially nice. This was a fun site to stumble over tonight! (Ulquiorra/Orihime.)

  - Bleach - [ Pixiv Account ] - Well, as long as I was in the Bleach corner on Pixiv, I could hardly resist poking around a little, now could I? One of the things I've always liked about the J-fandom of Bleach is that they can get me interested in a lot of things that I'll scroll right on by with in the English fandom, for whatever reason. And this artist has two of those things--Espada art (focusing on Szayel-Aporro and maybe Nnoitra), some of which are really amazing, and also Ulquiorra/Orihime, which I want to like, but... *waves hands vaguely* But this artist does a really great job of making me want to look at all of their art, to go back over it even when I know I've seen all their art before. Because the lineart is really sharp and the details can be really amazing and it's just. Beautiful artwork. (Espada/Szayel-Aporro, some Ulquiorra/Orihime, maybe some gen if you step carefully.)
