  - Disney - [ English Fanart Site ] - The Disney art is here if you want to head straight there. This is an incredibly stylized take on the Disney characters and that's what I love about it. I think the artist did an image for just about every major Disney movie OTP I have--especially Beast/Belle and Eric/Ariel--but I think I love this one of Jasmine and Rajah the most, she just looks so neat. Though, I'm also especially fond of Belle riding on Beast in a nicely done b&w sketch. The whole account for this artist's work is just really neat and a cool treat to see this morning. (The usual Disney OTPs.)

  - Disney - [ English Fanart Site ] - I was doing a massive trawling of devART and started coming across The Princess and the Frog art, which I couldn't stop clicking on (and pining to see the movie already) and eventually clicked my way onto this artist's account. I was immediately attracted to the artist's work for Tiana, but there's also art for a lot of the Disney princesses here and I had a lot of fun with the Ariel stuff especially. Occasionally the artist just nails the Disney style (Ariel when she first comes up out of the water to wring her hair out, the image of Ariel with all her sisters sitting on a giant clam, a lovely one of Belle and Beast together) and other times they do something like Vampire Jasmine for Halloween that just looks fantastic and cool. Plus there's a TON of art here and I must have spent at least an hour going through all of it. (The usual Disney OTPs.)

  - Disney - [ English Fanart Site ] - Oh, man, I'm not even sure where to start with this artist. Do I start with the Keyblade Mistresses series that is one of the first things that attracted me to this artist's work and are all just beautiful? Or start with the artist's Dreamer's Collection that so beautifully captures the feeling and spirit of each movie character drawn? How this Snow White image is one of the best I've seen for her character? How the Illustrations collection has one of the best Jasmine images I've ever seen? I'm just not sure what to say about this artist, other than that it's one of my favorite new devART accounts because all the art here is just beautiful and vivid and stunning and gorgeous and the kind of art that just does it for me, I'm a real sucker for a glossy sheen on art. I dunno if it's just my tastes or if the art is just that good (I suspect it's somewhere in between, I tend to be fangirly for the things I love) but... yeah, this site totally revved me up for Disney art again today, especially with those keyblade wielding princesses. *__* (No real warnings/pairings.)

  - Disney - [ English Fanart Site ] - I'd come across a few images from this artist here and there when link-hopping on dA, but finally settled in to view the whole account and... kind of fell in love. The main Disney tag has some lovely drawings done in 2008 with the princesses in formal dresses that had some nice designs, but, well. The Masquerade series tag was probably my favorite just for the pretty clothes and the artist drawing all the princesses in masquerade ball gowns. I am totally a sucker for things like that. Just... it was a really cute, fun site that satisfied my cravings for MOAR DISNEY today. <3 Plus, there was this really lovely image of Ariel playing a harp and a Kiss the Girl image, both worth visiting for! (No real warnings/pairings.)

  - Disney - [ English Fanart Site ] - Sometimes all it takes is a concept for me to fall in love with an artist. A concept like Sailor Princesses, where the Disney princesses are dressed up like Sailor Senshi and it's just. I would so read that fic, you know? The artist does a really solid job with the characters and the costume designs (I think Sailor Princess Ariel might be my favorite, though Sailor Princess Jasmine is great, too) and now I really like this site for the Disney art almost as much as I enjoyed the Sailor Moon art I originally came here for. (No warnings/pairings.)

  - Disney - [ English Fanart Site ] - This is another account I stumbled over for the art in The Little Mermaid section (especially the Triton family art and the cute Ariel art), but wound up staying for a lot of the 2008 art (the Jasmine portrait! Eric and Melody!) and the Princes art and the Sleeping Beauty art (I'm a sucker for pretty Aurora or Phillip/Aurora art.) and the Cinderella art and... well, you start to get the idea. The art is solid, the artist has a way of often capturing the feel of a character really nicely, and making it really fun to go through the galleries (the princesses as mermaids! yes, I love that kind of thing) along with how it felt like... every time I felt like I'd gone through quite a ways of the gallery, there was yet another tag to explore! I love an account where it takes me half an hour to an hour just to get through everything and see all of what the artist has accomplished, especially if they're having fun with things (the wallpapers are so pretty). It makes me really charmed by sites like this. (The usual Disney OTPs, they're only half the point.)

  - Disney - [ English Fanart Site ] - Oddly enough, I was looking around for Pokemon fanart today and instead somehow stumbled over some Disney fanart. There are several sketches and other images tucked away on the various pages, but what I really fell in love with was the Disney Scenes folder, where the artist drew several classic moments from various Disney movies. Some of my favorites were from Pocahontas, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and The Little Mermaid--of course, these are mostly my favorite movies, but I think the artist captured the scenes really well! Her style feels very much like a painting and the vibrant colors work very nicely here. This was definitely a treat this morning. (No real warnings/pairings beyond the usual canon Disney ones.)

  - Disney - [ deviantART Account ] - This artist did something really cool that I enjoyed a lot--they took one of those on-line dollmaker sites and made a bunch of Disney characters with them. I really like the look of them, they came out to be pretty fantastic and the style works for me here. I think my favorite is probably the Ariel one in her dress from after she becomes human or maybe the mermaid version of Ariel or maybe Giselle or even grown-up mermaid Melody. It's just a really interesting take on the characters and kind of made me want to go play with the dollmaker as well. >_> (No real warnings/pairings.)

  - Disney - [ deviantART Account ] - I was browsing around devART today and somehow got sucked back into the Disney corner of it. I stumbled over the artist's Tangled art (and then one more of Rapunzel and Flynn) and then wandered back to the rest of their gallery where there's some delightful stuff (Tiana messing with her hair or Halloween Tiana or a beautiful Ariel or another beautifully colored Ariel or an adorable Lilo and Stitch Halloween or lovely Jasmine) and kind of a lot of art to go through! The artist does well with the Disney style and you can really feel the affection for the lead female characters, which makes it really fun for me to go through. One of the best things about Disney fanart is the way it plays with the various female characters that really defined a lot of childhoods and really makes you want to celebrate them, which this one totally did for me. (The usual Disney pairings, but this is a surprisingly gen site.)

  - Disney - [ deviantART Account ] - I originally came here for the Tangled art, but eventually wound up staying for the greater Disney folder because I'm a sucker for pretty much all the movies and the fanart of them. Though, I do think the artist's image of Rapunzel and Pascal as she swings on a tree or the portrait of Rapunzel are some of the artist's best work, but I still really adored their underwater Ariel and Aurora dancing and beautiful Jasmine. Oh and Belle with flowers, too. The artist has some really beautiful stuff tucked away in their galleries, some really lovely dresses on the characters (mostly familiar, but often times with little tweaks that make them interesting to look at), and just. Reminds me of why I love all these characters and Disney. ♥ (No warnings/pairings.)

  - Disney - [ deviantART Account ] - I was actually looking for Tangled art this morning, but then stumbled over this artist's account again. I've linked to individual images before, but I hadn't recommended the account proper, so I'm doing that now. Because this artist doesn't have a lot of color art (though, there's a good chunk of b&w art) but what is here? Is kind of amazing. In the Disney gallery, there's a lovely one of Ariel (well, actually, there are a handful of Ariel illustrations) and a lovely Sleeping Beauty and a lovely Jasmine and several lovely PatF images in b&w. I wish the artist had done more in color because they look so... Disney, I guess! And remind me of why I love these characters and this fandom. (No real warnings/pairings, aside from occasional canon ones.)

  - Disney - [ deviantART Account ] - So, I never realized how much I needed Disney slash in my life until I stumbled over this artist's account. Initially, I had that moment of resitence, because I like the princesses with their princes, but... well, then I saw Megara pushing Ariel up against a wall and Aurora and Belle reading together and Esmeralda and Jasmine in Agrabah and I was like, "....SOLD." Those three images are probably my favorite-favorites, but everything in the Disney gallery is fantastic and reminds me of why I love these female characters and how beautiful they are. I really like the idea of slashing them with each other, both for the focus it gives on the characters and because finding f/f is really kind of rare, at least when it's this pretty. Plus, really. It's just beautiful art. *___*♥ (Aurora/Belle, Megara/Ariel, Jasmine/Esmeralda, Violet/Mirage, some other.)

  - Disney - [ deviantART Account ] - Okay, I know the artist doesn't have a ton of art here, there's probably only about six images at the time of this rec, but I stumbled over the artist's Jasmine image and totally fell in love with it instantly. Then there was the Snow White image in the same vein and a gorgeous Little Mermaid image that definitely pushed me over the edge. I would have probably justified a rec for those three images alone (and how I hope the artist will do more Disney art) but I also kind of seriously loved the Disney princesses as superheroes, which was a neat concept, but a beautiful excecution--I love the designs the artist came up with! Put all of that together (along with grown up version of Wendy, Lilo, and Alice) and you've got a delightful little account here. ♥ (No warnings/pairings.)
