- D.Gray-man - scapegoat [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Some of the illustrations on this site could use a little work, but there are enough here that are really good that I was terribly pleased to have come across this site--the artist is especially good at individual illustrations of Allen. Sometimes he's cute and adorable, other times there's a sense of tragedy/depression to him, in his posture and expression, that's even more lovely with the way the artist keeps to the feel of the D.Gray-man style of art. But! Her Kanda is often just lovely and her Kanda/Allen illustrations are very much worth checking out and I can't help but appreciate how pretty her Ravi and Ravi/Allen are and there's this one group illustration that's just fantastic and... yeah. Lots of neat art here that helps scratch the itch I have for more fanart for this series. :D (Some Kanda/Allen, some Ravi/Allen.)

- D.Gray-man - DIGITAL SCOOP side: D [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Hey! Scoop is doing D.Gray-man art! And, damn, it's really pretty art, the current top illustration (as of the time I was visiting the site) of Rabi is downright gorgeous. I'm not sure which of her art I like better, actually--the b&w sketches really show off how good her lineart is getting, that it's been tightening up ever since I first came across her early Prince of Tennis work, but the color stuff... man, her cel-style coloring with the more recent stuff is just awesome. I also have to profess much fondness for the way she often draws Rabi without his headband or in more normal street clothes, because it's not something I've seen all that often yet, but looks really good on him. And, oh, her Komui looks fantastic and... well, yes, much flailing over the art here. (Rabi/Allen mostly, with just a touch of Cross/Komui.)

- D.Gray-man - 33hz [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - There's not very much art on this site, even with the oekaki section containing probably twenty or thirty images (that I really liked), but I was impressed enough with the art in the gallery proper that I had to cave with the site. It's also kind of remarkable to see how much the artist has improved, even in less than ten illustrations--she starts off a little rough, but solid. Her illustration of Allen in the rain is beautiful, the dark colors really bringing the tone of the picture home and, a few images later, there's this beautiful one of Ticky with a sort of purple glow and surrounded by his black butterflies and I had to swoon just a little. The artist has... it's not quite a sketch-like style, but there's a hint of those whispy lines (...that's probably a bad way to phrase that) that just somehow does it for me. Combine that with a nice selection of all the characters and some very hot kisses between Rabi/Allen and Kanda/Allen and I'm onboard. <3 (Some Rabi/Allen, some Kanda/Allen, a little gen.)

- D.Gray-man - conviction;if [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This site took a few images to grow on me and I was kind of reluctant to let it, because I'd been on such a het kick for most of the day, but... the images are really cool, they've got this great style to them that fits the tone of the series very nicely. I waffled on the first dozen illustrations or so, but by about the middle of the gallery, there were really beautiful images in there and I am positively weak to a pretty Tiki image. She also puts these really cool patterns over her a lot of her images, which gives them a really neat effect and her oekaki art is really cute. I liked this site a lot. (Some Tiki/Allen, some Ravi/Allen, some other, both het and yaoi. Some gen, too, I suppose.)

- D.Gray-man - siesta alburn [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This isn't normally what I look for in fanart, but I couldn't help being intrigued by the banner and the first few images. There's so much rich, lush detail in these images, there's so much to stare at and it's all really cool just to look at. I can't even pick out just one or two because each one is just so... even with the sketchy, almost unfinished lines to the characters, the rest of the background and the colors and detail to everything is so tremendously done that each piece feels satisfying on its own. Even if there had only been five or six images on this site, I think I would have wound up recommending it just because it's one of those sites that I think people should see, just to have seen it, because the art is so cool. I don't know that it necessarily made me squee, but I certainly thought it was was a brilliantly done site. (Lots of pairings, a little Tiki/Allen, a little Ravi/Allen, a little other.)

- D.Gray-man - THOLOS [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - It only took two illustrations into this site, despite that there's not a whole lot of art here, to know that I was going to really like this site. The detail and color put into the images make them look so pretty, they're just so richly and lushly done. Some of them are a little darker, like the one of Allen in the rain that's so pretty to look at, and some others are done in these light, pastel-friendly colors and I love both styles. It's not a perfect site, but it's certainly one of the better ones I've seen and totally worth it for the adorable kitty!Kanda/Allen/Lavi image. It actually makes me like Kanda/Allen again, reminds me that some artists can still do it so that it looks really beautiful. And the sketches of the stand-alone characters are just gorgeous, all soft lines and soft colors. And any image the site has of Allen by himself? asdlfkjasldkjalsk so hot. And the handful of Rinali illustrations! Omg, so pretty. *__* (Some Kanda/Allen, some Lavi/Allen, some Lavi/Kanda, but worth it for the gen if you step carefully, I think.)

- D.Gray-man/Katekyou Hitman REBORN! - 1369 [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This is another site that's not going to appeal to everyone, I wasn't even going to recommend it at first, I was barely even halfway through the Reborn! art when I was about to give up. But... the D.Gray-man gallery is what really caught my attention with this site, the artist's style (which is very stylized, something that's not going to appeal to absolutely everyone) was kind of quirky and interesting, something that suited DGM really well. And I decided to include it in the REBORN! section as well because the artist does Dino/Hibari and it's somewhat intense art, which suits them. And, you know. Dino's tattoos are hot when drawn by this artist. That's a point in their favor. <3 It's not perfect, but it's interesting at least. The site makes for a good stop in a fanart hunt spree, I think. :D (Dino/Hibari for REBORN!, mostly gen for DGM, maybe a little Lavi/Allen.)

- D.Gray-man - pack [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I actually came here for the Reborn! fanart (though, there wasn't enough for me to justify a recommendation just yet, despite some absolutely beautiful pieces), but wound up staying more for the D.Gray-man art because the artist had been doing that series for longer, apparently. The artist does these beautiful illustrations, these really rich, slick colors with sharp lines and amazing shading and I just go for this sort of thing. They're also very creative images/poses, some of them are really lovely to even just look at, rather than being all fangirly because they're pretty Ravi or Ravi/Allen images. I enjoyed this site a lot! (Ravi/Allen, but worth it for the gen if you step lightly.)

- D.Gray-man - skip*pb [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I hesitated over this site for awhile, some of the early art is a little shakey for my usual take on a Ravi/Allen site, but... the artist drew some really cute stuff when the two of them were together. And somewhere along the line she started picking up steam and drawing some really interesting stuff. It's a lighter CG style, lots of lighter colors, but that works for Allen especially. The art is more cute than anything and will likely mostly appeal to fans of the pairing or those who love DGM fanart surfing just for itself, but I enjoyed it and think the artist has a lot of potential. <3 (Ravi/Allen.)

- Katekyou Hitman REBORN!/D.Gray-man - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - My only disappointment with this site is that the images were a little too small for my taste, they were so pretty that I would have loved to have seen them at a higher resolution and be able to take in more of the detail. There are times when the illustrations are rather scribble-like, but when the artist focuses in on the image a little more, she draws something really skillfull and professional looking, if obviously still a sketch. Her characters look really fantastic and, again, I kind of mourn that the images aren't bigger, because this could have been one of the great sites of the fandom, especially with both the stand-alone art and some the really super-hot couples art she drew. As for the DGM art, it's pretty much the same--lots of gorgeous, gorgeous art, whyyyyy couldn't they be bigger? *__* (A lot of gen, a random smattering of yaoi pairings, especially some Squalo/Yamamto. A lot of gen for DGM, a bunch of yaoi pairings, especially Ravi/Allen.)
