- Naruto/One Piece/Full Metal Alchemist - DUO BRAND [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Eeeee! It's this artist! I've seen her doujinshi on Yahoo!Japan a lot and she can do one of the most drop-dead gorgeous Kakashi-senseis that I've ever seen, he's just stunning in her hands sometimes. (Occasionally, the proportions are off, but when she does it right, she does one of my FAVORITE Kakashi-senseis.) Her sense of color is just stunning, these beautiful, vivid shades that I just love, everything seems to just glow. Her Full Metal Alchemist art is just as strong with the colors and the sense of detail, very professional looking. And the One Piece art... ohhh, the One Piece art. *fawns* The site is very Shanks-centric, which is juuuuust fine by me because the artist does an incredible Shanks; the colors are stunning and the poses fabulous. Shanks is a very cool character and looking at him in these illustrations... that really comes through, his sense of adventure and how COOL he is. My gaze is always drawn to his eyes, which are this incredible shade of blue and... well... Shanks is hot. *___* And then there's this incredible one of Mihawk and one of a smiling Kuro. *wibbles* I am definitely in love with this site. (Some KakaIru, some random yaoi pairings with FMA and OP.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - Mafia [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - The first thing I noticed on this site was a hysterical illustration of Edward and Envy wearing each other's clothes... with poor Ed embarassed as hell. XD XD Then going through the gallery more and more I fell in love with the artist's illustrations, she draws very well, getting the emotion of the images across--especially in one where Ed is holding Roy's battered bloody body. T_____T But there are some fabulous RoyxEd illustrations that fall in line with what I love about the pairing--Roy teasing the hell out of poor Edward and getting him super-pissed off. Beyond that, the lines are very nice and the colors are fantastic, some of them look really professional. Delving into the comics, I'm even more in love, because her lineart is fantastic and really evocative. Plus, it helps that every so often she draws smut. And the series of Ed-as-an-actual-chibi/kid is PRICELESS. I laughed SO HARD. <3333 The whole site is just one of those that made me sparkle and reaffirmed what I loved about these characters in the first place. Just... LOVELY. *purrs* (Some Roy/Ed, some Other/Ed.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - Prima Rosa [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - I've been looking over this site, trying to figure out exactly how to phrase what it is about it that draws me to the art and I think... it's the absolutely lovely colors. I'm not sure if they were done with actual watercolors or a digital technique to simulate watercolors, but either way, the effect is very, very nice. The artist really puts feeling into her illustrations, you can pick up on the sense of the characters, as well as fawning over how lovely they are. Just... very nice site, despite there not being more than a handful of illustrations here. (Some shounen ai, but no single pairing theme, all Various/Ed.)

- Prince of Tennis/Full Metal Alchemist/Naruto - [ English Fan Art Site ] - This is another artist that Yin pointed me to and I was happily going through the art, but KNEW I had to rec the artist when I came across her absolutely gorgeous Sakura/Ino illustration. The artist does gorgeous things with light, airy colors, often pastels, but the kind that work perfectly. Everything seems to almost... but not quite... glow, making all the art look beautiful. The lineart is absolutely wonderful as well, I swoon, really. I originally came here for the TeniPuri art, but I think I actually like the Naruto art a lot more, it's fantastic. Oh, and I have got to mention her FMA art--the one of Roy and Ed is incredible and I dearly, dearly hope to see more from the artist. (Some yaoi/shounen ai, but no single theme.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - I will warn about two things upfront with this site--one, if you're squeamish, do not click on this site, because there are some graphic (not sexually so, mind, there's almost no pairings here) images presented and, two, this art style is not going to be for everyone. I freely admit that there are certain things about the artist's art that don't vibe with me (I'm not 100% fond of the way she draws bodies), but the artist has a quality to her art that really drew me in. So many of the images painted an entire little picture/scenario with just one fanart and really got a reaction out of me. I love when an artist can do that. Plus? That one image of Al? *bursts into tears and recoils* It was so horrifying. T____T (Maybe a little Ed/Al, but mostly in the oekaki section, some graphic imagery.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - This site is just incredible--now, admittedly, the proportions and lines can be a little off, but what what absolutely stunned me about this artist's work is her coloring and shading. The crispness and clarity and beautiful coloring of her work is absolutely on par with the art of the official series, it's just that damned good. Occasionally, there are some images in here that I could easily have mistaken for official art if I didn't know better, they're just amazingly colored. All of them seem to have this golden glow, which is entirely appropriate since the artist focuses on Ed a lot (he's clearly her favorite character and she draws him gorgeously *__*), but she also has a sense of humor and draws wonderful romantic images. There are two of Roy/Ed that just made me swoon. But she also draws Ed with a real, genuine, honest-to-god smile on his face sometimes and I just... gah, I can't express my love with mere words. *fawns* (Some Roy/Ed, Al/Ed, and Hughes/Ed.)

- Full Metal Alchemist/Konjiki no Gash Bell!! - Feimao [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - I probably wouldn't have rec'd this site (it's very good art, it's just that there's not a whole lot on the site), except... holy crap, there's Konjiki no Gash Bell!! fanart!! And really pretty artwork, too--the artist especially draws a beautiful Gash, the colors and details just lovely. The HagaRen fanart is actually really nice as well--the artist does a fantastic human!Al and I love the choice of a matching blue coat (as opposed to Ed's red one) that the artist has chosen for him. Plus, there was this one gorgeous Quatre illustration on the site... anyway, very nice. (I wouldn't say there were any pairings/warnings, really, though, perhaps a little Al/Ed.)

- Full Metal Alchemist/Harry Potter/Hunter x Hunter - Vital Songs [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Someone pointed this out on the FMA comm and I clicked onto the site out of idle curiosity (since I love fanart so much and all ^_~) and immediately went *____* over the gorgeous art here. It's just... wow, the details are amazing, the lines are amazing, the colors are amazing, the poses are amazing, everything. This site isn't going to be for everyone--as it largely hints at Al/Ed, though, they never actually do much more than stand around together or lean on each other--and it's not my favorite pairing, but the art is so gorgeous here that I don't really care. There was one of Ed in the middle of an alchemy performance that was just... holy fuck, it was COOL. *___* (And this utterly gorgeous one of Ed looking over his shoulder at the 'camera'. *__*) The Harry Potter fanart was adorable, using the same solid poses and lovely colors/lines that the FMA fanart had. And then there's the Hunter x Hunter fanart... now, Kuroro/Kurapika isn't my favorite pairing, but, holy mother of god, the more recent art here is stunning. The b&w comic panels are just amazingly detailed and the shading so soft as to look almost 3-D; and the color art? Just amazing, really. The lines are gorgeous, delicate, and perfectly in proportion--I am one happy fangirl tonight. ♥ (Some Al/Ed and Kuroro/Kurapika.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - Another Heaven [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - The thing that keeps jumping out at me about this artist's work is two things--one she uses sparklies a lot in her art, but I couldn't bring myself to dislike it because it worked really well for her style, I thought they were very pretty. The other is that she draws Ed's eyes beautifully; pretty much no matter what illustration he was in, I always found my gaze being drawn towards his beautifully drawn, detailed and almost delicate but not girly eyes. Her colors are very nice, she uses the softener feature very well. There's clearly a love for the Al/Ed relationship here and most of the images in her regular gallery could almost be taken as gen--but you are going to want to skip this one if Al/Ed bothers you greatly. But I couldn't resist, especially when the artist drew both boys in glasses, their hair so golden blonde that it nearly gleamed, and they looked so beautiful.... *sparkles* Lovely art. ^_^v (Al/Ed, a little bit of Roy/Ed, some graphic AlxEd content--do not hit the R-18/R-20 sections unless you are mature enough to handle that.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - This is one of those sites where I was just rather pleased with the entire selection of art--the artist is all-around very solid with her art, very nice lines, some really awesome details in some of the illustrations, and really good-looking colors. One of the things that always gets me is when an illustration can engage me, when it can get me thinking, when I look at a picture and a story or skit pops into my head nearly fully-formed. There's one illustration on here where Roy is picking up Ed and swinging him around with a XDXDXD expression on his face, with Ed having a very similiar expression. I took one look at this image and went, //No idea what's going on here, but that happy expression doesn't look right on Ed's face. I keep seeing scenarios like... Roy: "Hagane no! You're so cute! *picks him up and swings him around* XDXDXD" Ed: *matching expression, entirely too cheerful tone as he claps his hands together* "Die, bastard! XDXDXD"// I love it when a site can engage me like that. So, the art is lovely, but what I really enjoyed is the sense of... connection, I guess, that I got off the site. ♥ (Some Roy/Ed, some other pairings.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - The reason why this site got put onto my recs list? Because there were literally about fifteen illustrations that I cooed or went "Awww!" or *___*'d over like crazy. With a lot of the illustrations on this site, the artist has just fantastic basic lineart, which really shows up in her sketches, comics, and b&w art. Her Ed is really quite, quite well-done and there's this one of Roy in the middle of a transmutation that's just pretty. *__* The comic of Roy leaning over to kiss a sleeping Ed and getting an automatic foot in the face was both lovely and hysterical, the neko!Eds were just too damned adorable, Ed sprawled across Roy's lap was niiiiiiiice, and I just sparkle over everything on this site. Luff, luff, luff. ♥ (Some Roy/Ed, some other/Ed.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - Lydia [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - When I clicked onto this site, I wasn't really sure what to expect... but I did not expect Havoc x Fury. Which was just... mind-boggling. Even more so because the art is really, really pretty, even bordering on beautiful with some of the illustrations. Seriously, the lines are fantastic, the coloring is fantastic, the shading is fantastic, the proportions are fantastic, everything about these is just... beautifully done. Not to mention that they each really look like the characters and the art is actually really cute and fun--Havoc with kitty ears and little mini Fury are adorable. Plus, going through the gift section, there's some lovely art of the other characters--there's one of Roy wrapping his arms around Ed, who's leaning into the embrace with this look on his face that just made me wibble for, like, ten minutes straight. *wibbles more* I... have this thing about Roy/Ed meaningful hugs. Seriously. I love them to little pieces and this one... just cut right to me. *loves* So, a very fun site with a lot of really interesting art. ^_^v (Havoc/Fury.)

- Full Metal Alchemist/Hikaru no Go - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I was just... so impressed with this artist's FMA artwork, right from the first lovely one she did of a very wet Ed. She has this style to her art that's... full of these highlights--nothing is ever just a solid block of one color, it's all these different shades blending together beautifully. Her basic lines are also gorgeous and I lovelovelove her poses; there are so many illustrations on this site that I want to point out that it makes me spaz a little. >_> I adore her FMA art the most (her art gets stronger over time--there's one of a sort of fantasty-style Ed and Roy where Ed has WINGS! and the details on the image are fantastic), but I was so impressed by her Hikaru no Go art that I had to include it, too. Soft, but not shoujo-y, detailed and with these fine lines that are in no ways delicate... wheeee! I just... ♥ the gorgeous art. (Some FMA shounen ai hinted at, Akira/Hikaru.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - *mad fangirl flailing* OMG! The cuteness! It wounds me! Just... this site isn't necessarily going to be for everyone, it's pure chibi art, yet very suggestive (everyone is nosebleeding over chibi!Ed in suggestive poses), but I took one look at the site and FELL IN LOVE. OMG! *flails* The lines and colors are gorgeous and the artist just has this... way with the characters that turns me into an incoherent fangirl squee'ing for all she's worth. She does an absolutely stunning Roy (the one or two times she draws him full-size), there's this one of him with a flame wrapped around his hand that is SO PRETTY. But her Ed is also just beautiful and she draws these gorgeous, gorgeous chibis. Kitty!chibi!Ed in the cardboard box wounds me with the cuteness and the illustration where about twenty chibi Eds are bouncing around while Hughes, Roy, and Armstrong try to corral them is the CUTEST THING EVER. Seriously. Even more than the fantastic use of CG or how amazing the artists lines/colors are, the art is squee-worthy and the kind of site that makes me incoherent with the love. *flails some more* ♥♥♥♥♥ (Some Roy/Ed, some Al/Ed.)

- Prince of Tennis/Bleach/Full Metal Alchemist/Death Note/Naruto - [ English Fanart Site ] - Oh, I knew I'd be rec'ing this artist when I saw the KakaIru chibis with the cake, because HOLY SHIT THAT IS SO FUCKING CUTE EEEEEEEEE OMG LOVE LOVE LOVE SQUEEEEEEEEE is pretty much the response I had. But there is also this utterly fantastic five-page FMA comic with Ed and a little chibi Roy that just... *sporfles* oh, it's pretty and utterly hysterical. There's also this utterly gorgeous Roy illustration, a heart-breaking Hughes one, a couple of beautifully colored Death Note illustrations, a couple of beautiful Bleach illustrations, and even a couple of adorable Tenipuri ones. I just... I really like the artist's coloring, it's that kind of richly textured look that makes everything look so pretty, in addition to REALLY nice lines. Just... very fun artist here, especially the FMA and Naruto stuff. (Some KakaIru, some other shounen ai pairings, but no real themes.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This site? FUNNIEST THING EVER. I kept hitting reload to watch the little animations because... well, some of them are just sort of cute; adorable little sprites riding on the train or working at their desks or whatever. But occasionally... one will come along that'll have me literally laughing so hard I get a headache. #15 and #16 in succession are the FUNNIEST THINGS EVER. It's been at least three minutes since I watched it and I'm still laughing. #13 and #20 in succession are pretty damn funny, too. I cannot say anything more than that, because they'll ruin the jokes, but... oh! And #14 had me giggling madly, too. And #30. Oh, hell, they were all pretty great. XD (No real warnings/pairings, I wouldn't say. Maybe a little RoyAi, but.)

- Gundam SEED/Full Metal Alchemist - REON @ WEB [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I admit, I almost, almost didn't put this in the FMA section, because I tend to be cranky about the non-RoyEd sites, but I figure pretty art is pretty art and I was there for the Ashuran/Cagalli anyway, so... besides, the RoyAi art on the site is really well-drawn. >P (I tease, really. <3) But. Oh. Man. The Ashuran/Cagalli fanart is just... *swoon* so lovely. The colors are gorgeous and there are a couple of illustrations that are just the kind that were knocked out of the park--gorgeous pose/expression on their faces, great detail, beautiful colors, and a feel to them that puts me into orbit. Illustration #8, the one with Cagalli's shirt open as she presses against Ashuran is just... her face is beautiful and I'm a dippy fangirl over the romantic implications. #4 has gorgeous colors and lines and #6 is just... the cel-style coloring is great, the lines of their clothes look nearly official, and I just LOVE the expressions on their faces. ....this is really kind of a crappy rec, I know, but this site put me in a flustered fangirl mode and you can't expect coherency after that. ^_~ (Ashuran/Cagalli and Roy/Hawkeye.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - [ English Fanart Site ] - Haru first showed me this artist's work on her journal and I was quite smitten with her art where she reversed the sins and the main characters (so that Roy, Ed, Al, Winry, Hawkeye, Hughes, etc. were sins, while Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Greed, etc. were military officers and alchemists) because the lineart was fabulous and because it was a really awesome concept and the costumes she drew for the sins were just cool. But there's also this series of illustrations from girlstarfish's AU that are just awesome, they're really capturing the style of the series, but blended with (I assume?) the AU-ishness 1920s feel of the fic. There are also some really great lone illustrations scattered about and just... it's well worth going through everything the artist has put up, I think. (A little pairings here and there, but no single theme to them.)

- Full Metal Alchemist - Sakki's arteblog [ English Fanart Site ] - Granted, I've already rec'd Sakki's website, which I believe eventually gets all of the art eventually, but given what massive, wibbling (like, pathetically fangirly, even) love I have for her art, that I think she does some of the best lineart in all of fandom--and I'm including all that J-fanart out there--I had to put the journal on the recs list. One of the things I like is that she so often posts sketches or doodles that are just... even if she only scratched them out in the middle of class, they end up looking just utterly fantastic, she nails the FMA style, while still being distinctive. I love her art because she does things like Christmas illustrations of all the traditional het pairings (OMG, THE IZUMI/SEIG ONE WAS THE GREATEST THING *EVAR*... though, I quite, quite loved the Hughes/Gracia one, too.) or the Roy/Ed/Roy 45 themes that are just brilliant sketches--whether because they're making me laugh or because they're gorgeously hot or because they're shockingly IC domestic stuff, it's just all a treat and one of the art sites/journals that's really just... satisfying. I still say that Sakki is one of the best artists in all of the fandom, I'd put her art up there with any of the J-fanart I see. ....I have such mad, mad love for her art, obviously. ♥ (Lots of RoyEdRoy, some het as well, plus lots of gen, a very wide appeal that I love.)

- Fullmetal Alchemist - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I hardly ever have my attention caught by FMA fanart sites anymore, I feel like I've seen most of the sites that I would really get all worked up over, but... well, I was seeking out Reborn! fanart this morning and happened to see the current top illustration of Roy and Ed, which caught my eye and... well. I started poking at the galleries. And this artist does that flat coloring with smooth, clean lines style that I like so much and maybe not everything is perfect, but when the artist gets it right, I love her work. There's some really, really awesome art on the site (Havoc shooting a gun, blood spraying back on him so awesome, even if it's creepy or the group illustration of them in an orchestra) and quite a lot of it, too. The artist draws a lovely Ed and asdlfjkasldkja I really sort of love her Roy/Ed art. (Roy/Ed, Havoc/Ed, a little other het and yaoi.)
