- Gundam SEED - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Fraga! Yay! I *heart* Fraga! While the pairing isn't my usual cup of tea, I found I really liked this site because the art is just so pretty! The initial lines are lovely, but it's really the colors that make me just love this site. Especially Fraga's hair and Kira's eyes, two of their most dinstinctive respective features; they're those kind of colors that almost seem to shine, which is really nice for a series like SEED. So, I enjoyed this site a lot. =^_^= (FragaxKira.)

- Gundam SEED/Prince of Tennis - Blue Cross [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - I haven't come across too much Gundam SEED fanart yet, largely because I don't quite have the motivation for it just yet, but every once in awhile, I'll stumble over it when it's on a site with something else I'm looking for (usually Naruto or TeniPuri fanart) and quite like the art. Which is the case with this site--I just really like the artist's lineart, it's really neat and clean. The artist also combines it with those color and shading combination that I tend to refer to as looking like jewels, which is a perfect fit with the SEED feel, so I rather liked this site. ^_^v Plus, the OshitariGakuto is just absolutely darling and reminds me of why I couldn't help falling in love with the pairing in the first place. Just... it made me smile. Though, I think my very favorite illustration on the site was probably the one of the entire Hyoutei team dressed up in Halloween costumes because it was just so darned adorable. =^____^= (Ashuran/Isaac, OshitariGakuto.)

- Gundam SEED - Pt. Dia [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Ooh, I like this artist, there's something about the way she draws the characters that just appeals to me. Part of it is the wonderful colors she uses, part of it is the fun she clearly has with the characters (I especially liked Isaak's little number *ufufufu*), part of it is that she draws the most adorable Ashuran and Kira, and part of it is that sometimes the art is just really pretty. There's this one of Ashuran and Isaak that was just... lovely, really. The colors and details were beautiful. *_* I liked the site a lot. ^_^v (Mostly Ashuran/Kira, some other shounen ai.)

- Gundam SEED/Inuyasha/Full Metal Alchemist - SEED [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Oddly enough, I stumbled over the Gundam SEED fanart on this site first and was just... impressed as all hell, because the art is fantastic. The artist's lines are incredibly professional looking, her shading fantastic and detail amazing; if the colors were a bit more CG-ish, I think I could almost have mistaken her lineart for official work, that's how good it is. I may not come across/seek out much G-SEED art, but this is one of the best ones I've seen, I think. There isn't much FMA art here just yet, but what there is is nice--I especially giggled over the Roy vs Ed!Snowman and cooed over Edward looking so very pretty in some of the other illustrations. The Inuyasha art is also gorgeous, there's an absolutely stunning one of Sesshoumaru that just looks damn near professional. I love. (Some shounen ai, some het.)

- Gundam SEED - Imitation [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Yzak x Ashuran isn't my pairing, but damn this art is good. The artist is one of those who can actually do CG artwork really well, the kind that's just a notch below the actual art for the series itself, because her sense of colors is so strong and skilled. The shading is wonderful and the amount of details is nice, but what really sells it is the incredible underlying lineart. Plus, I'll admit some of the illustrations were really cute. ^_~ This is one of those sites that make me glad I have pretty much no pairing preferences or favorite characters in SEED so that I can enjoy this kind of site. XD (YzakxAshuran.)

- Prince of Tennis/Gundam SEED - Shiso [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Now, there are a lot of pairings on this site (including some OshiAto and BeKami), but I found them to be not as well done as the Rikkai art, which is just lovely. It's interesting, actually, there seems to be a marked difference between her Hyoutei art and her Rikkai art and I'm not sure why that is--but the Rikkai art is really why I'm rec'ing this site. There are two things I loved about the style... well, okay, three. One, the lines are fantastic, very soft but still strong and clean, not really delicate but pretty instead. I love her color, but her b&w stuff has this incredible shading that you can see better. Two, this is the kind of art that makes me fall for a group of characters--you can see that Rikkai is a team, that they do silly stuff together or have fun together or practice together or sweatrop together and it's the team interaction stuff that really makes me sparkle. Three, PRETTY YAGYUUNIOU! *twirls*

Her Yagyuu is gorgeous (her Sanada, Yanagi, and Niou aren't exactly hard on the eyes, either)--there's this one comic where he's talking with Marui and Yagyuu's wearing this suit and just... OMG I DROOL ALL OVER MYSELF--and I can't decide if I like her traditional art better or if I like the comics better. Either way, the entire site is totally worth going through for just about all the Rikkai-related stuff. *luffles* Also, I'm going to toss this into the Gundam SEED section as well because while I didn't love the art as much as I loved her Tenipuri art, there are some fantastic illustrations of Ashuran in the gallery and a couple of really, really pretty Yzak ones--the further you get into the galleries, the more her art strengthens up and is often times just beautiful. (Rikkai-centric, some YagyuuNiou and Ashuran/Yzak.)

- Prince of Tennis/Gundam SEED - Ultimate Powers [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I love it when a site can actually wow me with the shading, colors, and lines, to the point that the art looks professional and makes me mourn that there aren't more of my favorite series presented--I can only find the one FMA illustration as the current top illustration and it's gorgeous enough to make me pine for more. However! This is the artist that does those incredible Tenipuri doujinshi that look damn near like they could have been actual art from the series--her Kamio/Shinji one I see all the time, her Oshitari/Gakuto one I see all the time, her group illustrations are often on the covers of those Love Prince anthologies and I lust after them because they're so beautiful and then her Gundam SEED art is done with the same talent and they're just... damn, they're good. I wish, DEARLY wish, that she had more FMA and Death Note fanart because I'd drool all over myself some more. (Shounen-ai friendly, but no single theme.)

- Full Metal Alchemist/Gundam SEED - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I have this weakeness for the style that this artist uses. It's... I'm not really sure what to call it, but it's got these delicate lines, but not swirling likes like a lot of shoujo and these beautiful light colors that just make me swoon. These beautiful shades of blue and purple especially, combined with these fine, delicate lines for the faces and hair and hands that just... they totally do it for me. I was immediately entranced with the Roy/Ed stuff (god, her Roy is beautiful especially) and I was even won over by the Ashuran/Kira stuff because... how could I not be? Just... man, those soft, almost pastel colors just utterly do me in. (Roy/Ed, Ashuran/Kira, and maybe a little Dearka/Yzak.)

- Gundam SEED - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I don't know what it is about Fraga/Kira that makes artists draw so well, but there are a handful of them out there who are drawing some really, really nice stuff and this artist... her lines and colors and proportions are all just so solid and made the art so much fun for me to go through. The colors are those softer colors that I just go nuts over and the way they make certain details stand out (especially their eyes) always impresses me and... well, I guess I'm not sure what to say about the style of the art, because it's just simply good, the kind that you can tell there's a lot of talent and discipline there and... it's the kind of art that wins me over to pouring over the gallery because it's such pretty stuff. But I'm also recommending this site because, if you skip the K/F stuff and just go straight for the Mwu la Fraga section, there is some gorgeous Fraga art that is worth the site alone, it's really some of the artist's best stuff, I think. I swoon. (Fraga/Kira, worth going for the gen Fraga stuff, too.)

- Gundam SEED - DASH [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This site isn't going to be for everyone, especially the girl!Dearka stuff (where he's dressed up as a cheerleader or in a skirt sometimes), but I had to recommend it for two reasons. One, the artist's Dearka looks really nice--she draws him looking gorgeous or as a kid who is utterly adorable and she often times has an awesome sense of color. Two, Dearka/Millie fanart sometimes! *shimmers* Walking on the beach and holding hands or similar things. While Yzak/Dearka is more common on the site, it's one of those that draws Dearka so well (god, his eyes and hair look fantastic sometimes) and in so many different poses/concepts that it's worth going if you like the character at all or if you like either pairing with him. I had much fun on the site. <3 (Some Yzak/Dearka, some Dearka/Millie.)

- Gundam SEED - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Aaaaaaand I think this may be, hands down, the prettiest Fraga/Kira site I've ever seen. The artist's work is just everything I look for--she does these beautiful colors and her lines are very fine and detailed yet clear, and she puts all these details into her illustrations that I nearly swoon over each and every one of them. They're just... it's not that I'm convinced of the pairing by them, but they make them so much fun to go through and so much fun to pour over the entire contents of the site. This is another one where I really do suggest going even if you're not a fan of the pairing but you like the individual characters because there's some gorgeous Fraga fanart on this site. Buried somewhere in one of the oekaki/rough galleries (make sure you hunt all over) there is this hot illustration of Fraga sliding a gun into/out of the back of his pants that I swear every G-SEED fangirl should see. *__* Just... man, this art is beautiful. (Fraga/Kira, worth going for the gen Fraga stuff, too.)

- Gundam SEED - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I think... maybe the Fraga/Kira fanart is eating my brain? Just a little bit? But, really, I have massive love for Fraga so anything with pretty fanart of him on it, I immediately want. I kinda like the sense of this site, the intensity somehow, maybe it was just the slightly more rough take on the characters, but... well, there's this one of Fraga with his shirt open and he's got all these muscles and I just go, "*___* Hiiiiiiiiii, you're very pretty, aren't you~~?" and have to get out the mop. ^_~ It's not my ultimate favorite, I probably do usually prefer something a little softer, but I also like the art here and some of the more recent stuff does a really great job with the Destiny characters and all that gorgeous long hair. *__* (Some Fraga/Kira.)

- Gundam SEED - 4th Not Found [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I... I... I... I tried not to like the idea of Fraga/Kruze, I did! But... the artist drew a couple of the illustrations to look so pretty that I was kinda won over. I mean, I like both characters a lot and something about the way this artist draws... she uses that softening filter really well, so everything looks really pretty and gentle and I totally go for that kind of stuff. And, yeah, the proportions are a little off sometimes, but I really will forgive a lot for pretty colors and an artist working with a lot of different characters, including some nice illustrations of the girls or some nicely done group shots. Plus, a lot of the Azrael fanart illustrations were well-done, fit well with the character or just looked really nice (like the one with the white wings *_*), and I mentioned that Fraga and Kruze (seperately and/or together) looked good? Yeah, that's all I need. ^_~ (A little Fraga/Kruze, a little Kruze/Azrael, some gen.)

- Full Metal Alchemist/Gundam SEED - Scalar [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I swear, this site did more for my FMA fannishness lately than I would have thought possible, but... I am such the sucker for Roy/Ed art that's both cute and squee-inducing, especially when you have stuff like Roy ducking under Ed's umbrella in the rain or Ed flopping onto him while reading or Ed sliding a sleeping Roy's boots off or the two of them holding a dog and cat and looking SO FECKING ADORABLE. The artist really has a strong sense for colors that work with the characters and just draws them to look pretty and managed to somehow hit that SQUEE factor for me. And her SEED art has much the same pros that her FMA work does--the lines are clean, fine, and detailed, the colors are soft but not washed out, it's adorable art (even I have to smile at Fraga's hat being way too big for Kira and flopping over his eyes and a sort of "Geeehh!!" posture >D) and is just... you could almost barely tell there were any pairings here, everything's just... friendly and nice. Soothing. I like that. <3 (Roy/Ed and Fraga/Kira.)

- Gundam SEED - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Despite there not being a ton of art here, I just utterly fell in love with the artist's detailed CG style. The soft colors and terrific amount of detail and approach that's almost like shoujo but not... all of it worked wonderfully. It has a very... traditional feel to it, I guess. Which isn't something I normally associate with G-SEED, but when a site has a beautiful Kira/Lux over a small pond with a beautiful moon in the background illustration like this one does, I tend to forgive a lot. Also, the ZAFT boys in Christmas outfits all laying in a circle on the snowy ground... well, I forgive a lot for that, too. XD Plus, the Ashuran/Yzak illustrations were surprisingly pretty and I like sites that have a mixture of both het and yaoi. (Both het and shounen ai pairings, but no single theme.)

- Gundam SEED - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I originally got here for the FFVII fanart, but the G-SEED fanart is just so much prettier. I was kind of wibbling over the art, thinking I really did like it quite a lot, but it was when I hit the beautiful Kira/Lux illustration that I was just a complete goner. It was so elegant and lovely and beautifully done that I just fell in love all over again. Hell, I even sort of fell in love with the artist's Dearka/Yzak fanart, because both characters just look so good when she's drawing them. And then there's this utterly stunning, perfect one of Stellar and a couple that just nail the style of the series and there's a beautiful Frey one and a lovely Ashuran/Cagalli one with the prettiest sunset colors to it and I just started swooning a lot. ♥ (Some Dearka/Yzak, Ashuran/Cagalli, Kira/Lux, maybe a little other.)

- Gundam SEED - Serenity [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - It seems like I may have seen this site before, but... I couldn't find it with a cursory glance through my recs, so what the hell. I admit, I came here for the Frey and Kira/Frey artwork, but actually ended up staying because the artist does a really neat job of emulating the original SEED's style. She's got that CG quality and that style to their eyes just down. She also does a variety of different characters, so it's not just obvious favoritism towards the one pairing... though, she does seem to like Kira/Frey the best. And, okay, I admit... for all that I like Kira/Frey for the messed up temporary pairing it was (Kira/Lux is one of my two favorite SEED pairings), I also kinda wibbled over the wedding and baby pictures. They're so cute, though! And, wow, the one of Kira crying and lowering a dead Frey into a pool of water while she's wearing a lovely gown... it was just pretty. (Mostly varied het and yaoi and gen. Some Kira/Frey, though.)
