- One Piece - sea dog [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - I'm really starting to fall for One Piece J-fanart sites because of sites like this one--the artist draws all the characters so incredibly well (the one of Nami and Vivi as kids together was so adorable, the one of Zoro and Sanji as kids together was so adorable, the one of Zoro surrounded by kids was--well, yes, you get where I'm going ^_~), using a soft touch with the colors that really reminds me of the original art itself in a lot of ways. It doesn't hurt that there's a nice amount of details and a fairly nice selection of mixing of characters (ie, it's not just the same two characters over and over and over--though, Zoro/Sanji is a definite theme) and the artist manages to capture the feel of One Piece. Much love. ♥ (Some Zoro/Sanji, a lot of gen.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - I admit, I was hesitant to rec this site at first, because I'm usually not fond enough of oekaki art on its own to rec a site just for that (Unless it's Prince of Tennis/Tezuka x Atobe, because I have a strong love of ZukaAto oekaki. XD), but this site totally won me over because of all the fantastic detail the artist puts into her work. (Btw, if you're wondering where the OP art is stashed--click on the little trash can to take you to the Weekly Jump gallery.) But it was also about the sense of fun the images carried with them; I can't tell you how many of them jumped out at me and made me go, "Hey, that's cool!" I loved Shanks with Luffy and Ace as kids, I loved Nami ruling the Going Merry with an iron fist and shaded eyes, I loved Luffy and Usopp and Chopper passed out in various positions around the room, I loved the zany group images, and I adored how ridiculously cute Chopper was. This site might not be for everyone, but I enjoyed it thoroughly for so capturing the spirt of OP. (No warnings/pairings.)

- One Piece - D.D. Works [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - .....holy mother of god, this artist is flat-out incredible. I first noticed the birthday illustration of Sanji on the top page and was immediately drooling on myself at the incredible lines and colors that made it look damn near like official art... and the rest of the site did not disappoint. The artist clearly loves Sanji and it really comes through in her art and the poses/clothes she puts him in; everything about the site screams fun (well, fun and sexyomgsohoti'mgoingtogodroolonmyselfnow) and really, really fucking cool. While Sanji is the main focus, the artist often draws other characters--she seems to have a fondness for putting him with Zoro especially, which didn't hurt my feelings at all. But there are also two illustrations of Sanji, Zoro, and Luffy in black suits against red/black backgrounds that are just... amazing with how cool it looks. I cannot stress enough the skill of this artist, this is one of those artist that is really at the top of the fanart game, one of those artists that stand out in a fandom even as big as the J-fandom for OP, that's how incredibly good her art is. Truly professional quality this fanartist gives us. ♥ Also--be sure to poke all over the site, there's art tucked away just about everywhere. (No warnings/pairings.)

- One Piece - Greap Escape [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Of course, what immediately caught my attention about this site was the Luffy/Nami content, since that's what I was seeking, but I actually found a lot more to the site than that. The art is very cute, often using pastel-ish colors, but doing so well and I found myself fond of the style. What I really loved was that everyone was just... happy and grinning all the time, that sense of high adventure and a great time that I get from the One Piece series itself. There were a couple of illustrations that just looked great--I enjoyed the group ones almost as much as I did the Luffy/Nami. So, yeah, just an all-around positive site that I enjoyed a lot. ^_^v (Some Luffy/Nami, a lot of gen.)

- One Piece - Bajo el sol [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - I don't remember how I got on the idea of looking for Kuro fanart this morning, but I ran across a link somehow and started following other links and just got into a One Piece mood this morning, which makes me glad I did, because holy crap some of the art on this page is gorgeous. It's not as Kuro-centric as I was originally hoping for, but that quickly came to no matter at all, because the art so very well captures the spirit of the series and is really, really well-done. There's this one image of Zoro and Kuro fighting that just totally and utterly made me go *____* because it was SO COOL (and beautiful). There were also some fantastic Smoker illustrations (I have an odd sort of crush on Smoker, I think), there were some really neat poster-style illustrations for the whole crew, and the Zoro illustrations were fantastic. Great details, great lines, great colors, I was just a happy, happy fangirl here. ♥ (No warnings/pairings... well, maybe a little bit of Kuro/Jango.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This site is one of those OP sites that shows just how amazingly popular the series is in the J-fandoms, because it attracts artists like this one--the artist's CG work is amazing, just really professional looking. Right down to her colors, shading, and lines, she draws art that's almost on the same level as the anime art itself, which isn't an easy thing to do. Her lines are smooth and crisp and clear without being bulky, her coloring is bright and solid, but without being gaudy or tacky, her poses for Sanji (as he's the focus of this site) are terrific, really keeping in the feel of the character. She also puts a lot of detail into her art, making them just fun to look at and an all-around really solid site. I'm very impressed. ^_^v (No warnings/pairings.)

- One Piece - Love & Piece [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Every once in awhile, I come across a site that just makes me *SQUEE* with wild abandon because it captures the feeling of the One Piece style/art so incredibly well AND gives me exactly what I want, that I just fangirl like mad crazy. This is one of those sites because the artist is incredibly talented but also because she draws some of my favorite pairings from the series AND does fantastic gen stuff. (There's the regular gallery, but also check out her Weekly Jump section, because she's got some fantastic sketches based off the chapters there. ♥) She's got that grin that Oda-sensei does down phenominally well, really helping along that sense of FUN that One Piece has. Her colors are also incredible, her lines fantastic, her poses perfect, her One Piece-tone amazing, and all of that. But, really, the thing that just made me twirl around the room in utter glee? That I believed these pairing illustrations. Sometimes, with some art sites, I have to squint a little to match the characters up with the ones in my head (This isn't an insult--this is something that happens with even the most STUNNING sites, many of which are among my absolute favorites.), but with this site... I dunno, I just SAW the characters (and pairings) that I adore so much. Because THIS is my Zoro/Nami, toally. And, really, I'm all about the squee-factor. If it makes ME fangirl, then I'm terrifically happy to have seen the site. ♥ (Some Zoro/Nami, some Sanji/Nami and some Luffy/Nami, and some gen.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I just... one of the things that I love so much about One Piece fanartists is that they so often capture the sense of fun and adventure and color and excitement of the series itself, yet never being redundant. And this site is no exception to that--I love the artwork here; the artist draws a fantastic Zoro and a fantastic Nami and fantastic Zoro/Nami and fantastic group illustrations and I could go on all day. Her sense for color is really strong, using the CG style in the way that I really like, her lines are terrific, very much in line with the art of the series, but not a copycat. It's just... why do I like this site so much? Because this is the Zoro/Nami dynamic that I like so much--sometimes she's teasing him, sometimes he's teasing her, sometimes they're annoyed as hell at each other, sometimes they're laughing together, it all just felt right to me. The other reason I like this site is that same thing I keep harping on--it FEELS like One Piece to me, you know? Plus? She had animated gifs! Oh, my god, the one of Luffy plopping his hat on Nami's head and kissing her cheeks was just about the most adorable thing ever! Though, Zoro looking over Nami who's fallen asleep at her desk was terribly adorable as well. And the multi-paged comic(s) was wonderful. I just... I love this site. ♥ (Zoro/Nami, with some gen.)

- One Piece - Color Life [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Admittedly, I waffled on this site, trying to figure out if I wanted to rec it or not, because not all the art is to my taste, but... the more and more I would go through the gallery, the more I could find an image here and there that I really liked. The one that finally sold me, though? Zoro giving Nami a hug in Alabasta after the fighting, it was just... it was fantastically done, from the bloody smears and worn clothing to the details on said clothing to the beautiful colors of it to the body language that just said it all. I could go on about that image for hours, I suspect. Plus, the one of Ace hitting on Nami while Zoro casually (and while facing away) points a sword at Ace's throat amuses me and the Valentine's Day ones were great and there's this one of Zoro and Nami in black against the background of the pyramids that is SO COOL/PRETTY and on and on and on. The point is that while not all of the art is my thing, there were enough here that made me squee and fangirl that I wanted to shove them at other people. ♥ (Zoro/Nami, with some gen.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I admit, some of the earlier illustrations on this site aren't ones I completely fangirl over, but as the artist goes along, she gets better and better. By the time I was getting to the last ten or so, the artist was just amazing with her details and lines and colors and I really can't expression my squee'ing with mere words. There's this one of Luffy, Sanji, and Chopper bringing back a bunch of groceries that I could just STARE at for half an hour and still not see all the details of it, I don't think. Not to mention the colors and lines are so incredibly IN TUNE with the One Piece style that I was just in love. And then there's the series of the OP characters in OP-style fighting clothes (similar to what they wore in Alabasta) where they all just look FANTASTIC! And then there's kiddie!Luffy or kiddie!Sanji that just... man, I can't fangirl hard enough, because it really FEELS like One Piece art AND it's just so pretty! (No real pairings/warnings.)

- One Piece - Cartoon Heroes [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - The art on this site took me a little while to get used to, it's very CG-ish in the sort of way... mm, it's hard to describe but I know what I mean. XD;; Anyway, the coloring is a little odd sometimes, but I really warmed up to it because, the further you get into the gallery, the more it starts to really WORK for the artist and she has some KICK ASS poses/concepts for her art. There's this one of Shanks and Luffy after Shanks has just gotten his arm bitten off that's just... you can FEEL the emotion from it, but it's also beautifully drawn, the colors lovely and the effects of the waves adding to it. Ahm, I'm doing a bad job of describing why I liked this site so much--it's not exactly the same as the typical sort of OP art, but it works for this artist--she does a fantastic Shanks, but she also does a fantastic everyone. What I really like, though, is she somehow captures the sense of... pirate to Shanks (and Luffy), the very cool, dangerous, deadly, but FUN still. Oh, and the Vivi/Kohza illustrations? OMG HOLY CRAP SO PRETTY. *___* Totally worth going to the site for all on their own. (Not really any pairings/warnings.)

- One Piece - KKD [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I admit, the characters' hips can be a little off with this artist, but the rest of the illustrations--right down to the clothes and the poses--are so fantastically done, so keeping with the FEEL of One Piece that I just fell in love. Mostly the artist does Robin--who looks FANATASTIC, she's got some of the most fantastically drawn costumes the artist puts her in--but occasionally does the main cast and some of the other characters, too. There was a really great Smoker illustration, there was a fantastic illustration of Kuragara and Norland that just made me wibble all over the place, and all in all... it was one of those sites that drew the characters in such a way that it reminded me of the One Piece series (the artist has really good coloring, too, very well shaded and detailed)... and I keep harping on that because... I mean, it's not a perfect replication, it's a bit more CG-ish in style, but... it felt like each piece of the background detail was thought out, I guess? Plus, dude, Robin fanart that's REALLY PRETTY. How could I not love? XD (Some Robin/Crocodile, some gen.)

- One Piece/Naruto/Bleach/Death Note - 032 [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Okay, see, I have this thing about sprites, right? If I could, I would totally be adopting, like, eight bajillion of them, but I never know which ones are all right to use and which ones are off-limits. And I see a lot of sprites and they're all really cute, but this site... oh, man, I think I nearly hurt something squee'ing over the cute. All those little One Piece or Naruto or Bleach or Death Note characters... well, it definitely helps that the site is KakaIru friendly and has some of the flat-out best sprites ever, like the ones of Kakashi with his nin dogs or Yondaime trying to summon a powerful frog (I nearly spit my soda back onto the screen at that one) or Kakashi kissing Iruka with little hearts floating around or Asuma and Shikamaru playing Go or just whatever. I could stare at these sprites all day long. (Even if I do bemoan the lack of an Orihime sprite.) I love this site more than bold and italics tags can convey. (Maybe a little Zoro/Sanji or KakaIru, but it's also gen-friendly, if you avoid the one page of KakaIru sprites. >_>)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - You know, this isn't my usual type of One Piece fanart site, but it has a sort of feel to the art that... really captures the whole One Piece feel. Just... in the sense of batshit pirate-y fun in places, I think. Plus, hell, who couldn't love a site that has Luffy and Ace as kids doodling on a passed out Shanks' face? Or Luffy trying to make himself taller by standing on his toes as Ace measures him against a pole while Shanks laughs hysterically behind them, because Luffy's trying JUST SO HARD. Or any number of other scenes from Luffy and Ace's childhood--the site is very much focused on Luffy and Ace and probably a little something more (though, you never really SEE anything, it's just the sense of intimacy that I occasionally get off the art), which isn't something I always seek out, but when it's done right, I really like it. There's some absolutely adorable brother-type antics that really just feel like... in a lot of ways, like they could have come right out of the manga version of their childhood itself, I guess. I really liked it. ♥ (I dunno, I'm not really ready to label this with any pairings.)

- Full Metal Alchemist/One Piece - [ English Fanart Site ] - Okay, see, I'm a sucker for any artist that's friendly towards Luffy/Nami art. Especially when they have some nice lines and really nice coloring that looks very professional and cel-like coloring. Then you toss in little Vivi with little Carue and then you toss in a really nice Roy style with little chibi-Eds all over the place and then you toss in a bunch of One Piece character illustrations (including an utterly ADORABLE chibi-Sanji in his cute little cooking outfit) and then you toss in a Luffy/Nami fan-comic and then you toss in kitty!Royxkitty!Ed and then you toss in Ed, Al, and Winry as kids and it's all wrapped up in this really solid art with really great colors and I just had FUN with this artist. Oh! And she also does these really cool FMA bookmark illustrations that I loved and lots and lots of little gag art that always makes me grin or giggle or... well, yes, lots of stuff to enjoy here. <3 (Some Luffy/Nami, some Roy/Ed, a lot of gen, too.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I hesitated a lot over this site initially, until I got to the treasure section and just absolutely cooed over every illustration, because they were SO EFFING CUTE. I mean, Zeff dragging kiddy!Sanji off to bed? IT DOES NOT GET CUTER THAN THAT. But it's also Shanks squirting Ben with a watergun while they're in the bathtub or Zeff and kiddy!Sanji fishing together or Ace and Luffy in the rain together and sleeping or a lot of other ones. So, I definitely recommend the site for that section and, hell, I liked the main gallery, too--that one of shirtless Sanji in bed drinking out of a tea cup? PRETTY. <3 (A little bit Zoro/Sanji if you squint, but mostly gen.)

- One Piece - O. N. I. [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I have such a great fondness for any site that does a lot of good oekaki with a wide variety of characters--like, when I can see Zoro and Sanji and Luffy and the rest frequently, but characters like Smoker or Captain Kuro or I can see an adorable fanart of Zoro and Chopper grinning like hell or one of Sanji drawing curly eyebrows and chin hair on Zoro while he sleeps or even Zoro and Nami snarking at each other? I love that kind of site. Plus, the artist does a good job with her illustrations, they're very obviously oekaki style, but I've kinda grown fond of that these days, and her colors are the light and pretty kind without being pastel. But. Well. Yes. There's a lot of Zoro-and-Sanji illustrations and a faint of slash hint to the website, so. Well. I would be won over, wouldn't I? Anyway. There's also a lot of regular (non-oekaki) art that has some pretty good lines, a ton of art, and I found myself liking more than I clicked right on past, which is really all I can ask for from a site. ^_~ (Not Zoro/Sanji, but I'm probably going to stick it in that catagory anyway.)

- Bleach/One Piece/D.Gray-man - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Oh! Oh! This site! I was going to have been so pissed if I couldn't find it again (when Word crashed and took all my recs with it) because it had a couple of the coolest One Piece illustrations I'd seen in awhile--there's this absolutely awesome one of Smoker in action that I love to tiny, tiny pieces. There's also a fantastic one of Ace that's one of the best I've ever seen for him. The artist also does an absolutely fabulous job with the Bleach characters, she really has this sort of rough-edged style that meshes so well with Kubotite's style, it feels like Bleach, especially when she draws Renji (she likes his hair down a lot or having him practically shirtless... I agree whole-heartedly ♥). And I have mad, mad love for her Ukitake or that one oekaki of Byakuya and there were a couple of Shunsui/Ukitake illustrations that totally made me happy. Plus, I had to include it in the D.Gray-man section 'cause, despite there not being a lot of art for the series, there was that one of Komui that was fantastic. <3 (Lots of Other/Renji shounen ai, maybe a little Shunsui/Ukitake.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I was initially attracted here because of the banner that had an interesting-looking illustration of Iceberg and Frankie on it, which actually turned out to be pretty cool. But then I stayed for the really neat Skypiea minor characters-based fanart, because how often do you see really cool Norland fanart? And, dude. There's genuinely good Frankie fanart! Of all the Water 7 characters, really--there's this absolutely fantastic one of Paulie and there are about three or four really amazing Ace illustrations and... yeah, there's not a lot of the Straw Hat crew themselves, but sometimes it's nice to have a site about the background characters. Especially when the artist draws them really well and she uses these bright colors that somehow really work for the images and the poses are all so COOL. Oh, and make sure to check out the comics, where you can see that the artist isn't just using pretty colors, she can actually draw. <3 (A little shounen ai, mostly Norland/Karugara and Iceberg/Frankie.)

- One Piece - psychedelica [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This isn't normally quite my style, it's very obviously computer-generated, but I gave the site a chance and I'm really glad I did, because the artist manages to achieve a style that works for her and she did a ton of the various characters. It was really neat to see a page devoted to almost every single one of the Galley-La workers, to see them in so many different poses--Califa looked especially hot, but they were all really well-done. The colors were used well, these nice, warm colors that I'm always so fond of and a lot of detail and well-balanced, just... all-around nicely done. Plus! OMG! ROZEN MAIDEN FANART. COOL! (No real warnings/pairings, I wouldn't say.)

- Final Fantasy 7/One Piece - Honura [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - *vibrates with happiness* I had so much fun with this site, really. There were a lot of cute illustrations, but I have to admit that it wasn't until I got to the soft, b&w one of Sephiroth and Cloud in the snow where Cloud's got a lock of Sephiroth's hair in his hand as he trails behind, it's so wibble-inducing cute! And then, not long after that, the site hit me with this gorgeous illustration of Aerith and Tifa in formal dresses (with little chibi Cloud and Sephiroth in their hands!) that made me sparkle like crazy. The artist does a really good variety of stuff, sometimes you'll find Sephiroth/Zack/Cloud, sometimes you'll find the FF7 women (Aerith, Tifa, and Yuffie in leather? Nice. :9) or sometimes there'll be these amazingly cute kiddie!Cloud with Sephiroth illustrations that just warm my heart. And, god, posessive!Sephiroth holding Cloud close while a chocobo stomps on a prone Zack? Priceless. And there's even Kingdom Hearts art! ....plus, any time Sephiroth bodily picks up Cloud to rush off with him (ostensibly to get him out of danger), I squeed. So much fun to be found here. ♥ And I wasn't originally going to include this in the One Piece section, since it's really more of an FF7 site, but the group illustration that was just somehow so One Piece, I caved. There's only a handful of illustrations, but the site just nails what makes me love the One Piece art, the soft edges that can occasionally be found in the art that makes it so pretty in its own way. And, god, the one of them as kids interspersed with them as adults? Brilliant. Totally worth the site alone. (Hints of a lot of the popular pairings, Sephiroth/Cloud, maybe a little Vincent/Cloud or Zack/Cloud; no One Piece pairings.)

- Gundam Wing/One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - You know, I didn't intend to look at the OP fanart on this site, I meant to skip right on over to the GundamW stuff, but... there was so much OP fanart and I was just going to go through a few of them and then there were a couple of uber-cute Zoro/Nami images (especially in the hit galleries omgggg ♥) and that pairing is a weakness of mine... and then somewhere along the way, it became a quietly solid, enjoyable site. The artis really does do a very cute Nami and some cute group pictures and adorable Zoro and Chopper images that are worth going through the site for. It's definitely a site with a cumulative effect and positive feelings because of a semi-rare pairing that I like, but there are some really nice images to be found here. It's similar with the GundamW art, where there's a lot of images of all the pilots and they're cute, but I also really enjoyed the Trowa/Duo a lot. :D (Some Zoro/Nami, some Zoro/Sanji, but a lot gen for OP. Trowa/Duo and some gen for GW.)

- One Piece/Katekyou Hitman REBORN! - CHITTYCHITTY [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This is one of those times that I wish I could like the Zoro/Luffy pairing more, because the artist here draws them so incredibly like canon, it's sort of amazing. The wonderful thing (both for me and for all One Piece fans) is that she doesn't just draw that pairing, she draws all the characters, you can find art of pretty much every main character and they all look fantastic. Plus, the illustrations are fun and happy, so much like the style of Oda's color illustrations, too. In comparison, there's not nearly as much Reborn! fanart (compared to the solid section of One Piece), but what's here is adorable Gokudera/Tsuna art. The lines are so clean and so much like their canon selves, I love it! A fantastic site. ♥ (Zoro/Luffy, and a lot of gen for OP. Gokudera/Tsuna for Reborn!.)

- One Piece - [ English Fanart Site ] - I was just wandering around dA this morning and happened to spot a really nicely done Luffy image. So, I followed it back and found a nice little account with several pieces of various characters that has a really strong canon-esque style. Mostly it's Luffy images, but there are also things like Ace in prison or Kalifa being "harrassed" by Spandam or Usopp lounging around or one of the best Helmeppo/Coby illustrations (Dream of happy days) I've ever seen. That one was totally my favorite. *__* There are some bondage themes and some occasional blood, so if you're easily squicked, you might want to give this site a pass. It's not very bad, but just something I thought I'd note. I really enjoyed going through a site like this, it reminded me of why I liked the series in the first place. (No real pairing themes, a little vaguely NSFW content, but I'd put it as PG13.)

- One Piece - Hinakick Web [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I know I said I wasn't going to rec each series separately from this site, but... well, I'm a little weak. Especially since there's more OP art here than I thought. And it really deserves its own rec. The artist does the same thing here she's done with most of the other series I've looked at on her site--she takes a pairing that's not one that really occurs much to me (though I can easily see where it comes from) and makes me interested because the art is just so damn gorgeous. I originally came here for the HP art, but got caught up in her stunning Lucci/Kaku art that's just. The colors shine and the details are amazing on every single image and the lines are so slick and clean and her animal forms for the CP9 are just. as;ldkfja;lskj wow. There's a lot of impressive variety here, too--from the sexualized stuff to the cuddly stuff to the sleepy morning in bed stuff to the kick ass action poses stuff to the super cute little baby Kaku. Totally worth going through even if the pairing isn't your thing. ♥ (Some gen, some Lucci/Kaku. Not entirely SFW.)

- One Piece - [ English Fanart Site ] - I actually came here to look for REBORN! art but wound up getting sucked in by the One Piece art instead and, okay, admittedly. I'm kind of a sucker for Luffy/Nami art, so I suspect this account will work best for those who are already fond of the pairing. XD But I really did like the art here, a lot of it was really kinda interesting and I liked that the artist tried out a bunch of different styles to create different effects... plus, there's an adorable little chibi Luffy/Nami illustration. Like I was resisting that. XD (Some Luffy/Nami, some gen.)

- One Piece - Gensou Mokeizu [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I was a little hesitant about this site at first, I wasn't sure the art was going to be my thing, it looked a little off at first. But the more I clicked on the links, the more I saw the level of detail that went into the illustrations and how really kind of amazing they were. I knew I was going to be recommending the site just based on the top page illustrations alone, but then I started getting into the pairing stuff and a;lskdfjasl;kj this site has such a hot ass Nami. Even if the art is a little off sometimes, the site captures the essence of her and how totally amazing and awesome she is, how gorgeous she is, how sexy she is. And, okay, I'm easy for sites that have Zoro/Nami, especially when she's totally a match for him and they're all about the makeouts and hotness and beautiful colors mixing together. ....that's pretty much what I want from Zoro/Nami, honestly. That and pretty art, which this site totally delivers on. And. As if that weren't awesome enough, there's also some gorgeous Zoro/Nami/Luffy art. And some gorgeous Luffy/Nami art where Nami continues to be smoking hot and there are gorgeous colors and there are sexy times in some of them! YES PLZ. And there's even some stand-alone art that's really fantastic and just. a s;dlfkjasl;kjslkj it's like this artist wanted to make me happy. And how she did. (Some Zoro/Nami, some Luffy/Nami, some Zoro/Nami/Luffy, some Sanji/Nami, some other, some gen.)

- One Piece - AQ Todo Factory [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I started out on this site going into the older gallery, just to start back from the beginning and work my way current, which is my favorite way to look at a site, often times you get to see how much progress has or hasn't been made by then. And this site definitely started out really rough, but I think a lot of it was the coloring, because looking at the b&w sketches (especially the one of Shanks resting in a tree) you can see how supriringly decently well done the lineart is! And, okay, there's super adorable Luffy/Nami fanart on the site and I'm biased, I know this. XD But there's also a decent amount of Shanks fanart! I wish there'd been more recent art, but if you like the pairing or like the character, it might be worth a whirl through the site. <3 (Some Luffy/Nami, some gen.)

- One Piece - Crimson [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I find it kind of really difficult to believe that I would have missed this site before, the layout looks familiar and I obviously love this kind of style of art. But... not on my list. a;sldkfjaslkj maybe I'm just hallucinating or something. Anyway, this is some darn good art here, the kind that even back in 2006 was striving at (and doing well at) keeping the style/spirit of the canon style in the illustrations. It is rougher early on, but you can see the artist improve over time and... Shanks! Shanks fanart! Not enough of that in the world! Plus there are some hotass Ace illustrations, some adorable ones with Zeff and kidlet Sanji, some super great Ace and Luffy illustrations, and even some of the rest of the Strawhats. But the real attraction here is the Shanks - Ace - Luffy group (as;dlfkjasl the current/recent one of all three of them shirtless while lounging on a sofa? yes plz) and the Water 7 group that got its own section, making it just a really cool site to go through. (Mostly gen, maybe some Shanks/Ben, if you want to see it that way.)

- One Piece - Sen [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I was a little unsure of what to make of this site at first, if it was going to be my thing or not, because the art style is a little more... mmm, a rough sort of stylized than I usually go for. But it was interesting enough (and had lots of Ace and Luffy!) that I kept going and... I dunno, somewhere around the creepy zombie-looking (Halloween?) illustration of Ace and Luffy, I just sort of caved because it was really interesting art. In a lot of ways, it kind of reminds me of the style of the sixth movie, which wouldn't have been my choice, but is kinda cool here. It's neat to see a site focused on the D family and, later on, the art does start to strongly resemble the canon's style and a;sdlkfjaslkj Luffy's grandfather! How often do you see him in fanart? The whole thing was just really fun, especially if you like that family, but even if you don't, there's a little extra around to find. (I'd say this was gen, but maybe a little Ace/Luffy if you want to see it that way.)

- One Piece - ALWAYS [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - It pretty much took me two links into this gallery to know I was going to love the art. Makino and little kidlets Luffy and Ace, all done up in a Christmas style illustration, the kind that did really well with the OP canon style! Yes plz. I mean, not everything is perfect, but the artist progresses over time and gets some really cute stuff along the way, especially with the D brothers. The colors are warm and pretty, the kind I associate with these characters already and even the sketches are super cute and always put them in different clothes or different poses/concepts or just generally makes each one really fun to look at. And as;ldfkjasljk now I want Ace back in the manga so bad. Also! The gifs of the various places or major items in OP, the kind that are almost pixelated? SO COOL OMG. Water 7 looks SO COOL OMG. XD XD XD (I'd say this site was gen, but it could be Ace/Luffy if you want to see it that way. Same for a little bit of Marco/Ace.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Wow, it did not take me long at all to fall in love with this site's style, because I love the super pretty water-color style images here. I mean, I don't know if it'll be for everyone, I'm not sure I'd say it's traditionally pretty, but when you're a One Piece fan, I would imagine you're used to being a fan of various styles of art that are a little different from usual. There's a sort of almost rough quality to the style, but I like the way that makes the illustrations look. Plus, asd;fjkaslkj there's one of younger Shanks that's kind of really hot and any time the large black cape shows up with any character (like Shanks or Luffy), it's totally epic. <3 It's another site that's focused on the D family and those closely associated with them, but given that this is about my fourth or fifth site this morning for them, I think it's says a lot about how much I liked the artist's work that I'm still kind of fascinated. (No warnings/pairings.)

- One Piece - 2nd Punk [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Just from the banner alone, I knew I'd probably going to be recommending this site. But I was a little unsure when I clicked on the first image, not bad, but not quite blowing me away, either. Then I clicked a few more links into the gallery and... okay, it's still kind of hit or miss, but there are a few that are just kind of fantastic. Sanji all tied up and bloody on the floor? Should not be that hot, but he is. There's fanservice from just about all of the characters, really, including one of Nami in short shorts and a;lsdkfjasl;kj bless this artist, seriously. XD I'm sort of iffy on the artist's Zoro, but her Sanji is really cool, there's something really polished or smooth about the art with his character and you can tell that he's probably her favorite. But! I had fun all over this site and I only wish there were more art here. <3 (Some Zoro/Sanji, some gen.)

- One Piece - [ English Fanart Site ] - I don't even remember how I stumbled over this site now, possibly through my attention being attracted here by the Zoro/Sanji art, but I really stayed just as much for the gen stuff. Of course, don't get me wrong, the ZoSan stuff is really awesome, too, the artist has a solid style that's reminscent of canon and captures the feel of a slightly rough edge that Oda has to his art, but is all the more awesome for it. I love that the artist seems like she could either be more like the manga style or like the anime style, really getting the feel of Oda's art down and also able to nail the anime cel-style coloring and the poses are perfect and just. a;lsdfkjal;skjalsjk her ZoSan fanart kind of makes me fall in love with them all over again. *__* (Some Zoro/Sanji, some gen.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Okay. I originally came here for the Sailor Moon art, but saw that there was some interesting looking One Piece art on the main page, so I decided to check it out. And a;sdlkfja;lskjaslkj omfg this is why I love OP fanart hunting. The artist just nails the adventurous feeling of what One Piece art should be, the friendships and pure joy of the series. The early art might be a little on the simple side, but it really does a great job of capturing Oda's style and then getting steadily better at it. Just. The one of Nami and Nojiko laughing is worth the entire site, it's really fantastic. I enjoyed this so much. <3 (No warnings/pairings.)

- One Piece - CountDown [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - A couple of things about this site. It admittedly took me a little time to get into the artist's style/for her to really strengthen up her art, but... by the time I got to the end of the ZoSan section of the gallery, I was making a lot more *__* faces over her art with each image. The other thing that I liked about the site is that there wasn't just Zoro/Sanji art here, but there was also a lot of Zoro-only or Sanji-only or other character art and... well, obviously I liked the pairing art a lot, but I was really impressed with the standalone stuff, too! Her Sanji is especially hot. There's some gorgeous Nami ones, a couple of Luffy/Nami illustrations (omg, it makes me ridiculously happy when a site has both Zoro/Sanji and Luffy/Nami!) and I was just. Really charmed by this site. ....especially when I kept scouting around the various gallery sections and stumbled over evenmore Nami art and WHY HELLO NEW ARTIST I ADORE FOR DRAWING HALF-NAKED NAMI. *__* (Zoro/Sanji, some gen, some Luffy/Nami, some Franky/Robin.)

One Piece: The Best Use of Roronoa Zoro's Pocket Money by Ranier - I never intended to stop on a One Piece fic again tonight, but the Zoro/Nami caught my eye and I decided what the hell. I'm glad I did because this is a cute, fun little story and I really like the way it plays on how Zoro doesn't care about money or worldly posessions and while, in some ways, that's easier for Nami (as the one who has her hands on their cash supplies), but also sort of drives her up the wall. And I really liked the other characters around them and the way the Zoro - Nami - money relationship ultimately worked out in this fic. <3 (Zoro/Nami, but it could really be gen, too.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Right from the current top illustration of Garp holding kidlet versions of Ace and Luffy, I was pretty sure I was going to love this site a whole hell of a lot. And it's full of art that's just so much fun, especially with Luffy flinging himself all over the place or various groups of the Strawhats watching the nighttime sky together or Ace/Luffy being adorable kidlets together or fantastic portraits of Luffy-- and so on. The art is clean with shiny colors, very cg feeling, but still managing to keep the spirit of One Piece and just having grand adventures and big smiles everywhere. I love the one of Luffy in Ace's outfit or pretty much any time he's giving Ace a tackle-glomping hug, it all reminds me of just how damn much I love Luffy and how much this artist clearly loves him, too. I wish there'd been a bit more art here, but what the artist does have is fantastic. The oekaki board is worth checking out as well for the art there--the Ace stuff is fantastic and there's an awesome one of Roger, too! ♥ (This is mostly a gen site, but maybe a little Ace/Luffy if you want to see it that way.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I originally came here to look for Ace fanart, but kind of got distracted looking at everything that's here, especially the Red Haired pirates stuff! I have the feeling I may have recommended this site before, but... enh, well, I was really in the mood for One Piece art, especially of the Ace variety, and this site does provide some nice stuff with him. It's also really cool how well the artist captures Oda's style, especially as the gallery goes on and on, the artist gets really good! My only complaint is that I wish the images had been a bit bigger so I could see the detail more. XD But it's a lot of Shanks and Luffy as a kid or Shanks with the other pirates or Ace portraits or the occasoinal Zoro illustration or the series of images of the Water 7 characters or the hilarious image of Garp snoring away while dreaming of Ace and Luffy as Marines! Or the very nice image of Ace & Luffy lounging on a couch while Shanks lounges in a chair next to them. And, boy, is there EVER A LOT OF ART HERE, which adds up really fast and makes for a great site to visit. (No real warnings/pairings.)

- One Piece - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This is one of those sites that's kinda clearly built for meeeeee! Despite that I was actually looking for Ace art this morning, I stumbled over this Zoro-centric site and, well, who am I to resist? There's a ton of art here and the artist does a good job of capturing the style of the manga, yet putting Zoro in a ton of different situations... actually, no, that's pretty Oda-like, considering all the splash covers he's done. But there's art of Zoro by himself, Zoro with his swords, the occasional image of him with Nami or Luffy or OMG ZORO AND CHOPPER CHRISTMAS CUTENESS OH I JUST ABOUT MELTED and then there's a fair amount of Zoro/Sanji art as well. There's a good amount of group art as well and some of it is just really fun adventure type art and other images are totally cracked out Christmas stuff that's perfect for OP, too. I do find that I wished the images had been a little bigger, but that's only 'cause they're so much fun. ♥ (This is mostly a gen site, but there's some Zoro/Sanji if you want to see it that way.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - There are two really great things about this artist's account--one, that there's a solid amount of art and, of course, it's very pretty stuff. But, two, there's some really interesting match-ups and characters that you don't see always. Like, Sengoku and Garp or an awesome one of Coby, Garp, Sengoku, and Aokiji or a really nicely done image of Izou or an awesome poster-style image of the Whitebeard War saga or Ace, Luffy, and Makino or STRONGWORLD Luffy or Ace and Hancock or-- well, you get the idea. There's some of the more popular characters as well, but sometimes it's nice to run into a really interesting artist who does a variety of characters like this. I enjoyed it a lot. (No real warnings/pairings.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - Okay, there's only a handful of art here, which had me debating for awhile, but eventually I had to cave because some of the art was just kind of really interesting. I stumbled over the artist because of their Halloween images that were really adorable, but then stayed for the just as adorable image of Ace and Bepo (there's also some great art of Bepo and Whitebeard, Bepo and Law) and then Salad Marco and I am just all over that trend on Pixiv. So, the artist's stuff wound up being a lot of fun! (No real warnings/pairings.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - Do you know what's another thing I love? A really cute Zoro/Nami piece to catch my attention that'll lead me back to an account that has a bunch more really cute art with shoujo, sparkly, bright colors that are totally my thing. Also, there is hotass Zoro. And a STRONGWORLD inspired Luffy/Nami hug. And Nami and Namizou in awesome clothes. And Luffy and Zoro both hugging Nami in their own ways with more warm, almost shoujo-style coloring. And, really, I wanted to say something coherent about this artist, how the lineart is really good in a lot of images, how I like the colors, how I'm totally in love with their love for Nami, etc. But then there's Nami at four stages in her life all bundled together or the Durarara!! pairing with Nami (or Namizou) in the Strawhats' outfits and I'm just too *___*♥ to be coherent. This artist is totally my kind of thing, I have to admit. *___* (Some Zoro/Nami, some Luffy/Nami, some other/Nami, a few NC-17 images, but there's also some gen.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - Another account that doesn't necessarily have a ton of art (though, you can find quite a few sketches in the multi-page links) but, screw you guys, all bets are off when I come across Roger and Rouge art that's beautiful and almost sort of shoujo-esque. I have a bit of a thing for them, I'll pretty much drop whatever else to find art for them sometimes because the possibilities of what might have been (despite that we know very little about Rouge other than her willpower was something fierce and we barely know much more about Roger) and just. They make a really beautiful pair in fanart sometimes. So, yeah. I'm all over that. But also! Halloween!Ace being adorable! And some fun sketches (watch out, though, that last one is a killer) and tiny Luffy with Kid and Law and kidlet Ace and Rouge and-- well, yes. It was enough to totally win me over. (Vaguely shippy sometimes, but enough to count.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - I debated on this account for awhile, since there are only 12 links (at the time of this rec) even if some of them are multi-page or multi-panel comics, and one of the images that initially caught my eye was of Spandam. Granted, it's not every day you see really nicely done Spandam art, but still. I want that dude to DIAF already. But then! Lucci and Kaku that's really, really nicely done! And Shanks rescuing Ace and the D brothers and then a comic that just about made me start bawling all over again. I kind of have to give a thumbs up to an artist who can make me do that, "... *hard sigh*" after looking at their art, because it brought it all up again. All in all, a really interesting collection and I'd like to see more from this artist. (No real warnings/pairings.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - I think I would have recommended this site just for the sheer novelty of finding a Marco/Crocodile shipper's collection of art! MARCO and CROCODILE! I don't think I'd seen that done even once before, to be honest. But! I love novelty! And this artist does some really kind of amazing work, the detail on both Crocodile and Marco is really fantastic and, while there's only a handful of images here, they're all on the same level of quality. I do wish the images were a smidge bigger, just to appreciate all that attention she's put into the images, but I appreciate art like this just existing. :Db (Some Marco/Crocodile, some gen.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - I wasn't sure I was going to recommend this account at first, since there's only eight images on it so far, but... well, the first image I saw of Law snuggled into bed and then there were a handful of Kid/Law images (I'm a sucker for novelty once again--though, that ship isn't that rare, all things considered, I don't think?) and then... well, Ace, Luffy, and Sabo and Iceberg/Franky when they were kids and, well. This artist clearly knew the way to get to me. But I really do like the warm, almost earthy sort of colors, the tons of detail the artist puts into their work, and how they just made me want to smile. That's what I keep going back to fanart for! (Some Kid/Law, some other, some gen.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - I think what gets me about this artist is the obvious affection and adoration they have for the D-Brothers and how it sweeps me right up in it, even if the images themselves aren't perfect. But I don't want to know the person who can look at Ace giving Luffy a piggyback ride when they were kids or Garp holding a sleeping Luffy and putting a bandaid on Ace's face when they were kids or this series of Ace sketches or this series of Ace images or Ace, Luffy, and Sabo and not just completely fall in love. The art is similar enough to the OP style to make me smile, but it's something more in the way that the artist... I don't know, gets across a certain feeling, the way they smile or the hugs the characters give each other, that's what I really responded to with this artist, I think. Also, I'm totally an Ace fangirl and this artist clearly adores him as well, so. That helped, too! (No real warnings/pairings.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - Another one where I hesitated a bit, some of the earlier art could use some polishing (which the artist clearly did), there's not a ton of art here, a fair amount of them are borderline ecchi, but... oh, man, how hard do I love Luffy kicking Sakazuki's ass and then Luffy kicking Kizaru's ass, TWO OF THE PEOPLE WHO DESERVE IT THE MOST. Those two images were worth it pretty much RIGHT THERE. I also enjoyed Sanjiko in a very pretty dress and I don't oppose the Luffy/Robin art, so, you know. It was an interesting site with some really out of the park images along the way. (Some gen, some Luffy/Robin, occasional NSFW content.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - I'll admit upfront that this artist isn't going to be for everyone, because there's some graphic Zoro/Robin sex and a lot of Robin nakedness strewn throughout the images. But if that doesn't bother you, then this is a gorgeous set of artwork, the kind where I can look at the images every time I come across this artist's account and still stop and stare. Santa-themed Zoro/Robin or the two of them sitting back to back on the main deck with one of his swords in her lap as she reads and he naps (which is my favorite, the colors are gorgeous, the lines are gorgeous, the pose is gorgeous, everything is gorgeous), or even Ace vs Aokiji (which my heart cries out for not getting), all of them are fantastic. Even the simple ones of his sword at her throat and hand in her hair, her hands coming up to hold onto him, or the Strawhats group image (you can tell I love this artist because I can't stop linking images *__*) they all manage to capture something of the series or just be really hot. I looooove this artist kind of a lot. ♥ (Zoro/Robin, some gen, watch out for a fair amount of NC-17.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - This artist has a handful of really amazing images that I fall for every time I come across them again, no matter how many times. Franky, Chopper, and Sanji in the blue, blue ocean with all the fish and dolphins is my favorite, because it's just beautiful to look at and captures the sense of adventure of the series so very well. But I'm also fond of a more serious Sanji with chocolate and Sanji in the sunset, which are both also just beautiful to look at. There might not be a ton of art here, but the artist is definitely capable of doing some really excellent work, especially if it's Sanji-centric. (No warnings/pairings.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - I kind of love this artist's work ridiculously. Whether it's Nami in a wedding gown or Sanji in a black and red suit or Ace and Luffy falling through the sky together or more of Doflamingo/Crocodile or cute group sketches of the Strawhats or awesome Sanji and Usopp from their STRONGWORLD adventure or one of the hotter Namizou, Luffyko, and Sanjiko images I've come across and even a little bit of Zoro/Sanji AU (with guns!) as a bonus. All of them are well-drawn, there's a whole bunch of them here, and the artist nicely captures the spirit of One Piece, both in the solo images and the awesome ENTIRE GROUP images. How could I ask for more? I love this artist kind of a lot. ♥ (Maybe some Ace/Luffy, but I think this is primarily a gen account.)

  - One Piece - [ Pixiv Account ] - While it's maybe less frequent than it used to be, I still have a fondness for Japan's fondness for Shuraiya, especially when they do such beautiful art of him. That's probably one of the main reasons to visit this account, but I also like that there's a gorgeous one of Marco with his phoenix wings and a really beautifully done one of three of the Supernovas and, my favorite, an awesome STRONGWORLD image of everyone falling through the sky. There's not a ton of art here, but what is really charmed me and is beautifully done, the bright anime cel-style colors and nicely done lines and sense of fun being why I keep coming back to OP fanart. (No warnings/pairings.)
