- Prince of Tennis - Scrap [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - It was the third illustration on this site that sold me on this one. I'm not the world's biggest Hiyoshi fan or Ohtori/Hiyoshi, but holy Christ, the image of a tearful Ohtori standing in front of flat-look!Hiyoshi while Jiroh sort of sleepily stares at them... god, it crushed me with how pretty it was. The colors (and shading on Ohtori's hair) were just flat-out amazing, the lines fabulous, and the cuteness soul-crushing. The rest of the site is just as gorgeous, using beautiful lines, beautiful colors, and really, honestly, genuinely sweet poses and looks on the characters' faces. The artist often uses that softener filter absolutely wonderfully, so the entire site just makes me swoon. *sparkles* And I think the little Ohtori sprite nuzzling the little Hiyoshi sprite crushed something in my soul with the sheer power of CUTE. (OhtoriHiyoshi, a little JirohHiyoshi, and a tiny bit of InuiEiji/InuiRyoma.)

- Prince of Tennis - Kiyora [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Often times, it's a handful of illustrations that I just adored that will get me to rec a site more than that I think people should see the entire site. Which is sort of the case with this site, because the artist has a handful of absolutely gorgeous illustrations (there's one of Oishi and Eiji in traditional clothes that I'm still fawning over *___*). Though, the artist does fabulous things with color, often very soft and pretty, some of them almost looking like incredible watercolors, some looking almost like soft, soft CG work. (I can't really ID the style, I just know it's pretty.) Shishido seems to be one of her favorite characters, given that the Ohtori/Shishido and Atobe/Shishido illustrations tend to be the best--the AtoShishi ones are downright gorgeous actually. So, I really liked the site. ^_^v (Some OishiEiji, some AtobeShishido, some Hyoutei pairings.)

- Prince of Tennis - Bitter Vanity [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Honestly, I think the thing I liked most about this site (other than the initial TezuFuji illustration towards the beginning of the page ^_~) were the group Hyoutei illustrations. The artist did a lot of cute ToriShishi/ShishiTori ones that I liked a lot, but it was her group art that really sold me, because Hyoutei was a team in them. And a little goofy--I have a dear, dear love of Hyoutei managing to stop being snobby for a few minutes and being a goofy team. (It's what I love about Seigaku as well.) I think I actually liked the artist's b&w comics the most, because they really showcased her lovely lineart and showed off the really pretty shading she does. Plus, her ToriShishi is the kind that's just so damn cute that I could scoop them up and snuggle them for an endless amount of time. ♥ There's also a gorgeous Atobe mini-comic that I fell in love with because it had Tezuka in it because he was just so amazingly drawn. Beautiful, beautiful art here. *__* (Hyoutei-centric, ToriShishi-friendly.)

- Prince of Tennis - Cheep Lips [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Okay, see, I have this thing for Jiroh x Oshitari; I don't know where it came from, why I have it, why it appeals to me, why I can just see it in my head (well, okay, that's probably thanks to all the pretty J-fanart for it out there), or how it started... all I know is that I go *___* over it. This site is mostly Jiroh-centric, rather than Jiroh/Oshitari-centric, which didn't hurt my feelings at all, since I really quite like Jiroh. He's very, very cute here and the JirohOshi fanart is just stunningly pretty. There's this one of them in the rain, with these beautiful shades of blue, that's just... lovely; there's another one of Jiroh holding Oshitari's glasses while he kisses him that is a good example of why I like the artist's work. It's not delicate art, but the colors are soft and the lines soft (without being girly), just the type of art that really works for this pairing. Plus, Jiroh's so cute in all of the art he's in and there's some occasional nice illustrations of the other Hyoutei members. ^_^v (Jiroh-centric, some JirohxOshitari, some Hyoutei.)

- Prince of Tennis - 2M [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I wasn't originally going to rec this site because Senbe isn't my pairing, but the art was pretty enough that I kept clicking on random illustrations in the gallery. And... the more I clicked, the more the artist's work became just beautiful, she does an incredible Sengoku (there were two Sengoku illustrations that just knocked me on my ass with how gorgeous they were--the one where he's leaning back against a wall? HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THAT'S BEAUTIFUL. *_____*) and an amazing Atobe--when she does Atobe-ko, he's just... amazing, beautiful, gorgeous, adorable, all those words that indicate how much I'm squee'ing. The artist has this incredible smoothness to her lines, fantastic proportions, and she completely lays the smackdown on CG-style coloring. I'm just impressed as all hell. ♥ (Some Sengoku/Atobe, some Yamabuki, some Hyoutei.)

- Prince of Tennis - Oh!MEGANEs [ Korean Fanart Site ] - I originally came to this site for the Jiroh/Oshitari fanart (because I have this thing for them, no, I don't know why), but stayed for the overall cute art. The art is very... well, it's hard to describe, it's kind of sketchy, but actually works for that, I thought, though, the real reason to come here is just for the... the overall feeling of fun to the site. If you're looking for a specific pairing, this site probably won't do much for you, but if you're looking for a nice little mix of Seigaku/Hyoutei/Rikkai art, then you'll probably like this one--or, hell, you could just go there for the absolutely ADORABLE (and gorgeous, actually *_*) illustration of Jiroh and Marui as kids in raincoats holding their mothers' hands that I just FELL IN LOVE WITH. Or you could go there for the Rikkai/FMA fusion that had Marui as Gluttony, Yukimura as Lust, and Niou as Envy that was quite possibly the funniest/brilliant thing I saw all day. ♥ (Some Hyoutei, some Seigaku, some Rikkai, a little Jiroh/Oshitari, beyond that no real themes.)

- Prince of Tennis - White Line [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - *ufufufufufu* It's amazing what an illustration or two of my favored pairings will do for me and my mood. ^_~ There's not a TON of art here, but it's winding up on my recs list because 1) YagyuuNiou art, 2) it's pretty, and 3) there are a couple of Tezuka illustrations that are just BEAUTIFUL here. ♥ Including one TezukaRyoma that I find myself surprised that I thought was as pretty as I did--but Tezuka was NICE. The artist's lines are her real strength, I think, they're wonderfully inked and I really like the way her basic lineart looks. Then toss in some PRETTY Yagyuu/Niou and some pretty Oshitari illustrations (*hisses and spits*) and an illustration of Atobe singing in that purple and white striped shirt from Valentine's Day Kiss with Kabaji and Oshitari singing in the background that made me DIE OF LAUGHTER and a couple of vaguely Zukatobe illustrations and... well, I had to rec. >_> (A little Yagyuu/Niou, Hyoutei-friendly, some Oshitari/Atobe.)

- Prince of Tennis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This is another one of those sites where I'm not sure how I got onto it, since neither character is the one I normally seek out fanart for (being that neither of them is Tezuka ^_~), but I found myself rather enjoying the site because the Hiyoshi/Taki fanart is really pretty. The artist starts out a little rough, but her recent work is really quite beautiful--gorgeous colors and lines, cute poses/concepts, and then the occasional random chibi art that is ADORABLE. Her most recent one of Hiyoshi and Taki in white, fuzzy sweaters is just absolutely gorgeous. It also helps that there are a couple of nice YagyuuNiou illustrations tucked away on the site, but mostly I enjoyed this site for the Hyoutei cuteness. ^_^v (Hiyoshi/Taki.)

- Prince of Tennis - Robin_food [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I'm not sure how to describe why I like this site so much, other than to note that I just really like the artist's more current lineart. Well, that and I was totally won over by the fanart of Hiyoshi that looked like it was done with CG and is just... well, incredible, really. From the fantastic detail on his hair to the perfect lines of his body to the gorgeous way he was super-bishounen-ified, that image made me a fan of the site. Of course, that the artist does the occasional gorgeous Shishido or adorable Yuuta or Marui getting bubble-gum ALL OVER HIS FACE HAHAHAHA XD or the most stunning Yukimura that I've seen in a long time (the one where he's one the phone and seems to almost GLOW, just... *SWOON*) or the most adorable Kirihara ever or fantastic SanaYuki... well, all those things help, too. I really just... GOOD ARTIST HERE YOU GO SEE NOW. (Some shounen ai, no real pairing themes, Hyoutei-friendly, and Rikkai-friendly.)

- Prince of Tennis - Phantasms [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I... am not the world's biggest OshiAto fan these days, but, Christ, even I can't resist when the artist does this absolutely incredibly colored art. Just... vivid and bright without being gaudy, you know? It also helped that the artist softed me up with a REALLY PRETTY ToriShishi illustration right off the bat and then a REALLY COOL illustration of Shishido playing pool and doing some FANASTIC (and lovely) group illustrations. And that I genuinely like her Atobe. And that I find the mock-doujinshi game Hyoutei illustrations to be really amusing and pretty. The art is the kind that... you can tell it's fanart, because the lines are a little pointier and the coloring less CG-esque, but it doesn't matter, because it looks PRETTY and it's the artist's distinctive style and then HOLY CRAP SHE DRAWS A GORGEOUS YAGYUU AND NIOU AND MARUI ILLUSTRATION AND I HAVE TO REVEAL WHAT A DIPPY FANGIRL I AM AND DROOL ON MYSELF AT HOW PRETTY IT IS. But her Yagyuu really is hot. *__* (Some Oshitari/Atobe, Hyoutei-friendly, Rikkai-friendly.)

- Prince of Tennis - FTf [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Oh, hell, I can't help it, this site won me over with the absolutely adorable Jiroh/Hiyoshi fanart. I might not have been won over if it had been just Hiyoshi (nothing against the character, but I found the pairing art to be more fun/tighter than the single character art), but then the artist tossed Jiroh in and... I have a soft spot for the little sleepy-head. Plus, she had this one just lovely illustration of Jiroh with marigolds (I think?) that was all sunny and pretty... and then this ADORABLE bouncy Jiroh with ^__^v expression while Hiyoshi huddled in the corner and just... FUN. When the artist is on the ball, she does REALLY good illustrations and I find myself thinking, "....I could be won over by that pairing with a little convincing, yes. >_>" Oh, and the really pretty b&w sketch of Yagyuu and Niou didn't hurt my feelings, either. ♥ (Some Jiroh/Hiyoshi, some other/Hiyoshi.)

- Prince of Tennis - dapantyo [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - ....have I never rec'd this site? It seems like I must have... but I can't find it in my links anywhere. It's one of those sites that's just completely all over the map with the characters they draw in the illustrations. One time it'll be a TezuAto illustration, the next it'll be an Eiji illustration, the next it'll be an OshiGaku illustration, the next it'll be Fuji, the next it'll be Ryoma and Karupin, the next it'll be a TezuFuji illustration, then another OshiGaku illustration, and so on. Which I like, because I like a lot of different things (obviously) and because the art is really cute. Her OshiGaku is probably the best, but I find I also like the ZukaAto stuff, because she uses these really pretty colors with brush-like style that works nicely. Just... a NICE site and FUN and one of those that gives me a fix for lots of little things. (Several shounen ai pairings, few themes, but mostly OshiGaku, with Seigaku-friendly, Hyoutei-friendly, TezuAto-friendly, and TezuFuji-friendly elements.)

- Prince of Tennis/Bleach - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I wasn't going to rec this site at first, because I'm not sure how much the artist's style resonated with me, personally, but the more I started poking around, the more I realized that each illustration was starting to stand out for me, that I wanted to keep going with the site, because the illustrations were either amusing, they hinted at TezuAto, or they were occasionally REALLY GOOD--there's this absolutely fantastic one of Sanada that I think has Tezuka in the background and it's just... perfect. The colors are fantastic, the details are nice, and the FEEL... the intensity and strength of the feel I get off the illustration WITHOUT it being even close to shounen-ai... I fell in love with that. Which was my favorite piece on the site, but then there's stuff like the batshit Seigaku Halloween or Hyoutei at karaoke with the BEST expression on Atobe's face or the random cute group stuff or whatever. Plus, then you've got the Bleach oekaki that are scattered throughout the site that just really, really nailed the characters that they were drawing, I think. Gin's creepy smile was perfect. And the others were just... nice, worth checking out, I think. (I'm... not really sure I'm going to label this with any pairings, but Seigaku and Hyoutei-friendly.)

- Prince of Tennis/Naruto - Lovely Place [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - There are two things that attract me to this site--the not-quite-chibi illustrations of pretty much every major team in the series were adorable. They're so cute and every one just gets more and more adorable and there's a ton of them and then there's the little winter!Seigaku one where they're all dressed up in warm clothes and walking together and all the traditional couples and I just spaz from the cute. It helps that I'm really fond of the traditional pairings (TezuFuji, InuKai, OishiEiji, MomoRyo, etc.), but I really think these are some of the most adorable images I've seen even aside from that. The artist really knows how to draw the characters well without stepping too far over the cute line and into saccharine. The other thing is that I was really impressed by the artist's Naruto fanart, which is nicely polished and detailed. There's not nearly as much of it on the site as there is Tenipuri art, but the Gaara illustration alone makes the visit worthwhile. Well, no. Gaara and the really kickass one of ANBU!(?) Sasuke. And Naruto with the spiral on his stomach. And Hokage!Naruto with ANBU!Sasuke. *__* Such pretty colors, too. (Some implication of TezuFuji, OishiEiji, InuKai, MomoRyo, ToriShishi, AkutsuDan, OshiAto, other popular Hyoutei pairings. Worth a visit for both Seigaku and Hyoutei fans.)

- Prince of Tennis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I believe I snatched the link for this site from Alissa, because I've had a fondness for the idea of AtoShishi for awhile and this site... I wasn't sure I was entirely onboard at first, it was cute, but it wasn't blowing me away, until I got to the artist's CG-style work instead of the sketches. Her coloring is really terrific so it adds an almost professional look to it... and I was totally won over by the one of Atobe with his hand on Shishido's hip, the shirt raised just enough for the space of a hand's with. The poses and the expressions on their faces, it just looked really sleak and sexy, the exact vibe I was going for with this pairing. The Halloween one is much the same, the way everything is lean and slender and the coloring makes it look like the anime style and just... yes, that's what I wanted. Worth a look if you're a fan of the pairing, I think. (Atobe/Shishido, some other Hyoutei.)

- Prince of Tennis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - There are days when I wake up and suddenly I think that, well, maybe a particular pairing wouldn't be so terribly bad, maybe I can go look for stuff for it, just for a little while. I don't know why that happens, just that it happens over night sometimes. Usually when I've been out of a canon long enough that I start to think outside the lines I had previously drawn for myself and... apparently, Kabaji/Atobe is that pairing today. It kind of weirded me out when I originally thought about it while watching the anime/reading the manga, but... eh, who am I to resist pretty fanart? It helps that the artist draws a very, very nice Atobe and that she spins Kabaji enough to... *waves hand* I don't know, either look a little prettier or else gives him a personality so he looks more interesting or something that makes him work better for me than he did in canon. Plus, there's a lot of art here and even the oekaki stuff is well done! (Kabaji/Atobe, not quite SFW.)
