- Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (raw) - Spindle Spike - You have to scroll down a ways to find this one, but it should be easy to spot if you just look for the obviously D18 cover. Which is what got my attention for it in the first place, I believe I was scrolling through my flist and saw a post on free_manga that looked a lot like a D18 doujinshi, so I went to look at it and, aha! It was! The cover is actually a lot more angular and almost kind of sketch-like (despite the utterly gorgeous coloring, which looks even more amazing in the full scan) but I was curious enough to download because, hey, D18 porn is D18 porn. What I got from this doujinshi was a gorgeous little story (a;sdlfjka I want the scanslation so bad omg) with some surprisingly super hot art. The artist draws Hibari's eyes in that way that totally gets me, where they're almost half-lidded and his hair is almost whispy on the ends, yet everything about him is dangerous. And a;lsdfkjas her Dino is so hot, especially when all that blond hair is falling in his face and he's just so tall. *__* And, of course, it's the usual D18 dynamic, which is actually pretty IC, considering the way doujinshi usually goes. ♥ There's also another REBORN! doujinshi for download on the post, but I've only gone through the D18 one so far. - Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (scanslated) - RGB - Despite that I'm in a total D18 mood, this doujinshi caught my eye because I've seen the artist's site before (and as;ldfkjasl;k so pretty) and because it was apparently a full color doujinshi. The colors of this artist's style are amazing, they practically glow with how lumiscent they are, so many different shades of colors used, yet without ever going into being tacky. Both Tsuna and Mukuro look beautiful, I really cannot get over it. The style is very canon as well and the storyline is actually really very IC after Mukuro has become... not friendly with Tsuna's family, but at least a sort of part of it. I loved the whole thing. *___* (Mukuro/Tsuna.) - Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (scanslated) - Henachoko! Dino-san - I was a little wary of this doujinshi, between the scanslator notes and the cover not looking like my favorite thing ever, but it was Dino/Hibari, so I was practically obligated to give it a chance once I'd spotted it. And five pages into the thing, even before I got anywhere near the porn itself, I was already cracking the hell up, which is what totally makes this doujin. I mean, what's great about this is that you have the usual conventions of Hibari being all pliant and quiet uke as everyone molests him and then you get to the thoughts going through his head and I just-- asd;flkjaslkjfffff ahahahaha, I cracked up all over again. The art actually looks more like a really pretty fan-comic than a regular doujinshi, but I don't mind that much because the artist's Hibari is really hot, mmm. And I love that the doujin is borderline parody, so a lot of what might otherwise be questionable is kind of hilarious to me. It's not going to be for everyone, but I lol'd. (Dino/Hibari, NC-17.) Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (scanslated) - Dessert after a meal - [Note: This post is locked, but the comm should be freely joinable as long as you follow the rules/are a legal adult.] One of the best things about getting into the REBORN! fandom and becoming fond of the D18 pairing is Banyu's doujinshi because they are so hot, oh my god. Not even the porn (well, okay, that, too) so much as the way she draws both characters, they're both so gorgeous in her hands. The story in this one is pretty straightforward--Dino's got only a few more hours left in Japan before he has to fly back to Italy, so of coure he goes to see Hibari because he wants one last time before they go. Hibari's kind of blank throughout the whole story, but Dino's characterization totally shines (and Hibari does have a great ending line), especially for a doujin that's all about the smut. I don't know if it'd win new D18 fans over, but it's certainly a treat for those who are already fans and the editing of the doujin looks beautiful. (Dino/Hibari, NC-17.) Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (scanslated) - Sandai Yokkyuu Yuusen Jyuni - [Note: This post is locked, but the comm should be freely joinable as long as you follow the rules/are a legal adult.] This link is the same as the previous one, since both doujin are posted together, but I wanted to recommend/talk about them seperately. The art is just as gorgeous with this one, it's another thin plot with the excuse for porn, but it's still interesting to read the doujinshika's take on the characters. How Dino's in love with Hibari, how much he wants time with/feelings from Hibari. And Hibari who... I like this Hibari, even if he's slightly less violent than usual, mostly because he's very blank on the outside, it's almost like he doesn't care (and in some ways he does), but there's obviously more going on underneath the surface. Half the time he looks sleepy or just bored and it's kind of perfect. ....and now I'm in the mood for these two again. (Dino/Hibari, NC-17.) Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (scanslated) - Hyper Sweet Communication - This doujinshi story is really short, it's probably about 15 pages long, but! It's Xanxus/Squalo and the art is very close to the canon style and it's... well, it's a little random and off the wall (the basic plot being Squalo trying to give Xanxus a birthday present and it goes about as you'd expect), but it's got kissing and ~*implications*~ of other things. It's a light read, but if you like the pairing, it's worth the time. Squalo makes some great faces and the older!versions of Xanxus and Squalo look very nice, mm. (Xanxus/Squalo, I'd rate it a light R. Not quite NSFW, but not really porny, either.) Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (scanslated): untitled? - [Note: The post is locked, but the comm is freely joinable.] ads;ljkfalkjaslkj I love Banyu's doujinshi so much, her art is so hot and her Hibari has the best bored/annoyed faces and her humor is really, really, genuinely hilarious. Like, Dino wheedling Hibari into going to the public baths could be such a cliche, OOC thing and yet. Hibari's so ready to just leave until Dino Makes Faces At Him (and he knows Dino won't leave him alone) or the phone call of awesome that starts off the doujinshi or-- asd;lfkjalkj god I love this doujinshika and I love this doujin especially. *___* (Dino/Hibari.) Katekyou Hitman REBORN! Doujinshi (scanslated): Mind Control - There's a surprisingly little amount of Mukuro/Hibari art or doujinshi out there, so when this one came along, I was all too happy to pounce on it. It's a bit of an odd little thing, it's almost purely pwp/just jumps right into a relationship with the two of them, but... well, the art is really pretty and the image of Mukuro mind-controlling Hibari into giving him a blow job and then ending on a really hot note made the doujin totally worthwhile for me. :Db (Mukuro/Hibari, NSFW, somewhere around an R rating.)
