- Suikoden Tierkreis - KUMACOO [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I originally came to this site hoping to find some Jale art. And the artist does do some really nice Jale and Jale/hero stuff! But! Also! Also also also! Hero/Marica! Which I... cannot quite bring myself to not kind of like! Plus the art is very cute and adorable with just the basic lines of it, but the colors are pretty and match the style of the game, looking really slick and polished. I love the comics as well (which are mostly Jale/Hero) because you can see how strong her sense of detail is there, but well. I'd also be lying if I said that the sakura-watching illustration with chibis omg didn't send me into fits of adorable. ♥ (Jale/Hero, Hero/Marica.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - SUNHIGH [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I went back and forth on this site for awhile, partially because Roberto/Hero isn't quite my pairing (though I totally see where it comes from) and because there wasn't a whole lot of color art on the site at first. But I kept scouting around a bit and eventually stumbled over the log section and kind of fell in love with the artist's sketches that had color in them. The lines were sharp and there was a bit of variety to the characters which was really nice and some of them were just really pretty. It was definitely one of the better sites I saw today. ♥ (Some Roberto/Hero, some gen.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - as;dlkjfa;slkj yes, now this is what I'm looking for! Right now, I'm sort of gen with the whole series and only sort of vaguely interested in ships, mostly I just want art for the characters and this site provided some really pretty stuff. The details are lovely, even if the cg style is a little simple at first, but the colors are also gorgeous right from the beginning. I loved anything with the hero in it, of course, but it wasn't until I got to the illustration of Sisuca that I was really impressed, because that's a gorgeous piece of art. Right after that was a beautiful one of Asad! And then chibi art of the main company! I hope there'll be more art here in the future, but it's already a fantastic site for the fandom. (Some potential yaoi, but nothing really consistent, aside from various/hero.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This site can be a bit difficult to navigate, but I'm really glad I took the time to figure it out, because the art is really pretty good here, one of the stronger sites I've seen in this (relatively) small fandom! The lines are sharp, the details are good, the colors are pretty, everything that it needs to be. The artist has gotten really good over time and I would have recommended it just for that alone, it's totally a bonus that the site is Jale/hero and Luo-Tao/Liu friendly. I wish there'd been a bit more of the latter, but this artist does one of the better Jales out there imo, so it's hard to really complain. Very, very nice stuff, if you have the patience for the site. ♥ (Jale/hero, Luo-Tao/Liu.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - You know, Meruvis/Asad is not a pairing that would have occurred to me on my own and I did blink a little at it at first, but... this site is so pretty! There's a really sort of whispy feel to a lot of the art, combined with warm colors that really works for this artist. I'm easy for Asad fanart a lot of the time and this artist obviously likes him, but not to exclusion. There's some really great Jale art on this site as well, a really fantastic Jale/hero angsty one, and hell. I even went through the comics, which I don't do that often, because the artist's style lends itself really well to those. A very satisfying site this morning. (Meruvis/Asad, some other, some gen.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - There's not much art here, but. A couple of things got me to cave--the first was that it's really solid, nicely done art. The colors are strong and the lines are really solid, there's a lot of strength to them. I'd have loved to have seen more, which is how I know I liked a site. *g* The second was that it was another site that put Meruvis and Asad together, which I... I kinda am starting to like. So, I had to rec it. XD Plus, I think it's about the only site that I've seen where Asad tops, which sort of surprised me a lot here. But, whatever, it was pretty art. o/ (Asad/Meruvis.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This was a really kind of neat style, it looks pixelated, but it's not tiny, it's decent sized. It makes the colors look really vivid and gives everything a sharp edge that I really liked. Plus, some of it is just so damn cute and there's a good selection of various characters, a lot more than I was expecting! I'm kind of at a loss for what else to say about the site, other than that I really liked it! I think it'd be fun for most people to take a look through. <3 (Mostly gen, a little smige of Shams/Taj.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Well. :| This site didn't take me long at all to cave on. It started off with an illustration of Asad lounging around in a pin-up-style pose. And then there was a similar one of Liu. And then there was a hero/Roberto illustration that was both pretty and kind of awesome, managing to capture the dynamic I love about them. And then there was more gorgeous art on the log pages! I do wish there'd been a bit more here, but the art was very nicely done, even the log art/sketches were worth taking a trip through, and I loved pretty much every single piece. I'd love more sites like this one. ♥ But at least there was even more gorgeous art tucked away in on the blog section! (No real warnings/pairings. Maybe a smidge of hero/Roberto?)

- Suikoden Teirkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - a;sdlkfjaslkj I tried to resist this site, I really did. But it didn't take long for it to start hitting me with cute Ramin art, sketches and oekaki and just little doodles that were cute and intriguing. Then it was Ramin and Sisuca and it was really adorable. And then Ramin and Numnu and asldkfjaslkjs oh goddammit I'm just that weak to oddball pairing interactions. And these characters, I'm really fond of the ones that made strong impressions--plus, it's been a good day for art for Tierkreis with these characters and this site hit me in just the right mood. (Some various/Ramin, but it's also sort of gen.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - This is another site where I tried to resist and almost pulled away from it, except... Tsuabern and Buchse, it's not a pairing I'd really seen that much of yet. And I remembered Siobhan mentioning that she'd seen it fairly often and that'd gotten my curiosity up and so I stuck around. It's a decent little site, there are some really interesting images in the various log pages and there's a focus on the characters separately as well as together, which is what really won me over ultimately. The lines are sharp and I wasn't bored at all on this site and it was just really interesting. That's more than enough for me. o/ I-- I can kind of feel myself slipping into shipping this because of the site. (Mostly gen, some Tsaubern/Buchse.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I knew I was probably going to be in trouble with this site from the opening page where (at the time of this rec) it had little Buchse and Tsaubern chibis on the front page that were pretty darn cute. And then I got into the site itself and there were a handful of really pretty fully done images that had kind of terrific lines and details and colors. And then there was a lot of sketches of Tsaubern teasing Buchse and pretty art of Minen and Ritterschild characters as kids and it just. Really wasn't long before I was won over. And, hell, even the comics have some really great lineart to them and I've mostly been skipping comics these days. ....so, still, not my favorite pairing for them, but I am really being won over by all this pretty art. *___* (Tsaubern/Buchse.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - Apparently, I have somehow found myself in the Tsaubern/Buchse corner of fandom and haven't quite made it back out yet. But I couldn't resist this site, it had a handful of really pretty images! Maybe not quite as much as I'd like, but I really was taken with the water-color-esque/painting-like style of the images, it was something different and interesting to look at. The artist also has some really cute lines and her comics look kind of terrific and it kind of didn't matter that it was a small site, I really enjoyed it anyway! o/ (Tsaubern/Buchse.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I went back and forth on this site for a bit, it's very sketchy and messy, but eventually... eventually I caved for a couple of reasons. The first was that it focused on various pairings with the Citro Village characters, especially with Dirk (Dirk/Liu and Dirk/hero especially and at least one pretty Dirk/Sisuca) and the second was that I really kind of warmed up to the art style. It's got a certain quality to it that I really like and some of the sketches are really well done. There's a fair amount of art here as well and I just really enjoyed it a lot. It's especially nice if you liked Dirk's character, but I enjoyed it even beyond that. (Some Dirk/hero, some Dirk/Liu, some Dirk/Sisuca, some gen.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I knew I'd probably be caving on this site as soon as I got to the current top illustration of Luo-Tao holding an oversized leaf over Liu's head while rain dripped off it. as;ldkfjasl I am such a sucker for that sort of thing. But what I liked about this site was that the art really was solid and it had a surprising amount of pairings I liked--there was even a Meruvis/Asad image! The comics are also really pretty and I wish there'd been a bit more art here, but the artist's basic lines are really nicely done and her Luo-Tao was hot and even the log art pages were good. All things I love. <3 And omg the human versions of the porpos-kin were kind of seriously awesome. (Some Luo-Tao/Liu, some Meruvis/Asad, some other.)

- Suikoden Tierkries - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I was totally charmed by the little chibi Liu drawings which were just so damn cute that I had to smile at each of them. I know a lot of what I liked about this site was that I was weak to the characters that frequently appeared, but it really is a solid, cute little site with some really nice Liu art. And I felt that way before I got to the Luo-Tao/Liu chibi makeout image. :D The site is a little everyone/Liu, but you look at enough fanart and you come to like that sort of thing, plus... well, still cute, so I'm easy. I really did enjoy this site a lot. (Some Hero/Liu, some other/Liu, some gen if you step carefully.)

- Suikoden Tierkreis - [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I was randomly in the mood for Luo-Tao/Liu fanart this morning, so I started hitting up the search engines to see if I could find anything new and I think this site is new to me? I've seen some of her art on pixiv before, but not her actual site? Which is weird because this is exactly the kind of thing I love. Her art is very clean and brightly colored, it's got the glossy, slick look of a near professional and there's both gen art and art for Luo-Tao/Liu. And also occasional almost-porn. It's like the artist loves me. There's also occasional hero/Liu and Jale/hero, but it's well-balanced enough that I think you could find satisfaction if you're a fan of any of them--because the artist is just really solid and draws cute art like the characters at the beach or in modern day uniforms or Roberto looking all o/////o which is never not hilarious. Even the sketches are often light, airy, and beautiful. I had fun here this morning. ♥ (Some Luo-Tao/Liu, some hero/Liu, some Jale/hero, some gen.)
