- X-Men: Evolution - Reaching Out by Daine - Okay, this one was sorta pairing-centric, but I didn't mind because I really like the idea of Lance/Kitty. They're cute! And Daine gave Kitty an actual brain in this fic! And the dynamics and contrasts between the two characters.... *swirly eyes* Really, this was a wonderfully written fic about Kitty demanding answers after the Brotherhood revealed themselves at the soccer game. I can't say more, because I'll just end up gushing and quoting half the damn thing, but any Evo fans should read it for the wonderful character insights. (Lance/Kitty implications.)
