- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - And again, another site that I have to rec if just for one image. I *heart* this hit gift. Like, a lot. It's so freaking cute! There's some cute art scattered around the rest of the site as well, but I just had to rec that site for that one image. XD (Seiji/Nasuti and Seiji/Touma.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - Marine Blue [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - As evidenced by the name, this is primarely a Shin site, but all of the Troopers have illustrations of them up... and they're so cute! Not the best art in the world, but damned cute and every so often there was a truly lovely image in the gallery. Plus! Shin/Ryo section! *purrrs* Lots of pretty Shin/Ryo-ness that's just adorable. Uh... yeah. Not much else to say except the oekaki board was really neat, too! ^_^v (Shin/Ryo-friendly.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - Precious Gate [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Whoa, the Trooper images in the gallery (which can be a bit hard to find, it's the second row of links on this page) are beautiful! My favorite one is probably the one of Touma or the group one, but they're all ungodly gorgeous. *drools* (No pairings/warnings.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Okay, I wasn't originally going to rec this one because while some of the art was kinda cute (there was this adorable Touma one with wings!) a lot of it... really wasn't. Not bad or anything, just not fantastic. Then I wandered through the "treasure" section and saw this. *drools* That is a beautiful illustration of Kayura. And this is a stunning Sh'ten! But my favorite has to be this one of Rajura. *jaw drops* It's just... wow.
Anyway. There are a lot of other cute images in the "treasure" section, so I suggest combing through it as well as the main gallery. (Some yaoi-ish hints of Seiji/Touma and Shin/Ryo, if I remember correctly.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Oooohhh, pretty fan art! *_* I started working my way through the gallery, hit this one and I knew I was linking the site right away. The colors are soft and lovely and give me that happy feeling that comes with good YST stuff. That dippy, retarded WAFFy feeling. Hopefully you know the one I mean. ^_~ Just... nice fan art. (Seiji/Touma-centric.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - *hyuuu!* So much cute adorable neat-o-riffic art! The boys are just this side of chibi, but that's okay, because they're so cute I want to scoop them up and hug them and never let go! XD The colors are wonderfully soft and pretty and sparkly and shiney and I need a new thesaurus. -_- I think my favorite parts are the soft colors (the pastels really work for the style without being tacky) and the lovely eyes. So pretty. Be sure to poke all around the site, as the art is tucked away in several corners. (Seiji/Touma friendly.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - More adorably cute fanart that's just this side of chibi. This site focuses more on the MaShou and uses really soft and pretty colors and is just... cute! (Gallery is here, btw.) The artist can do absolutely gorgeous images of Naaza, as you can see by two of the gift illustrations on the previous site. Can't really think of more than that to say. Except, I want to marry this picture of Dorothy-sama. (From GundamW.) (No real pairings/warnings.)
- Trigun/Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - PFSA [ Japanese Fan Art Site } - Okay, the YST fan art-fan art didn't do much for me (not bad, just not particular striking to me), but the YST fan-comic was really pretty and Seiji looks absolutely gorgeous on this page of the comic. *drools* After finishing with the YST section, I headed over to the Trigun section and, holy crap, those Vash/Wolfwood images are lovely. The colors, the smoothness of the drawings, the utter adorability of them.... *happy sigh* So much prettiness. (Touma/Seiji, Wolfwood/Vash.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - Cosmic Space [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - I just... like the style of the art on this site. (The site can be a bit tough to navigate, but the main gallery index is here.) It's... cute and delicate (not something I usually like associated with the Trooper-tachi, but it worked here), like this image of Touma. (He really reminds me of the way Tsuzuki from Yami no Matsuei looked in the first couple of volumes.) The art can also be very CGI-y, like this illustration of Shuu, but I don't mind, because it's different from everything else I've been seeing and done quite well. There are some really cute concepts like this one of Seiji and Touma and a beautiful one of Nasuti. (Seiji/Touma-centric.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - T/H Communication [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Yet again, I knew I had to rec a site when I hit a certain image. Whoo. The site doesn't have the most gorgeous art ever, but it's got some really cool Seiji/Touma images and the other characters. (Like this one of Kayura is really quite pretty.) A lot of the art reminds me of the more common doujinshi styles, which is good thing, actually. Very nice and pretty. And there's a lot of art tucked onto various pages, so surf around a lot, and make sure you check out the comics. They're so cute! Now excuse me while I go drool over Touma. (SeijixTouma/ToumaxSeiji-centric.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - SUIRYOKUKAN [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - As the front page says, this is an uke-Seiji fansite, which doesn't really turn my crank, but, hey, as long as Touma and Seiji are together, I'm mostly happy. ^_^v And the art on this site is beautiful--where the hell were all these sites when I was surfing for YST fan art about a year ago? *hmph* Anyway, the colors are gorgeous, the style lovely, and just an all-around good fan art site for Seiji fans. The one of Seiji tied up in red ribbons is preeeeeetty. (Mostly ToumaxSeiji, with occasional ShinxSeiji and other _____xSeiji pairings.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - 371c [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Another one that I wasn't going to originally rec, but decided what the hell, and tossed it into the pile. There's something that doesn't quite do it for me with this art. It's not that the style is bad (reminds me of a certain style of yaoi manga, actually), it's just that it's so far removed from the YST art, that it's not really all that recognizable anymore. And I admit that I'm not as willing to overlook it, since it's only half a Seiji/Touma site, along with a Shin/Seiji site. (And some occasional Ryo/Seiji mixed in as well.) *sweatdrops* That said, there's a lot of art here and it's quite well-done. The colors are lovely and the concepts of the fan art are interesting--like, I rather liked this illustration of Seiji. He's so pretty. ^_^ (Shin/Seiji, Touma/Seiji, and a little bit of Ryo/Seiji.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - Hioutei [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - I didn't mean to stumble across a YST fan art site, but I was randomly surfing around and happened to come across this one. And I had to rec if only just for this illustration of Shin. Wow. His eyes are gorgeous. (There's a cute Touma/Kayura image in the gifts section, and a really cute Sakura-chan (CCS) illustration.) The thing I love about the art on this site is the combination of smooth lines and gorgeous, solid coloring. It looks very professional and shiiiiiiney. *_* (No pairings/warnings.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - Dear, Dear [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Well, hell. As long as I was going through YST fan art sites, I wandered into the various links sections and came across a few more sites. This one has really cute art--the style really reminds me of some of the cuter YST doujinshi styles I've seen out there. At least the b&w ones, the color ones look more like typical fan art--but still cute! ^_^ Like this gift illustration, heh, poor Shin's expression amuses the heck out of me. As for the webmaster's art itself... very cute. Like this one of Ryo and Shin or this one of Touma and Shin (where you can really see the doujin-esque quality... every single time I see it, I'm reminded of V-Kids' style. It looks a lot like their fantasy stories.) This one of Ryo also highly reminds me of the Hashiba Lab. style. Very cool. ^_^v One more before I shut up--this one is lovely and the comics are wonderful. (Lotsa random pairings--Shin/Ryo, Shin/Touma, Seiji/Touma, and hints of Ryo/Touma.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - This is one of my favorite YST sites just for the adorable art stashed everywhere on the site. It's so cute and so well-done and there's so much of it! I mean, really, it's almost good enough to mistake it for official art, and literally just about anywhere you go on the site, there are more cute graphics. *is impressed as hell* No characters are overlooked, either. The Trooper-tachi are the main focus, of course, but you can find art of the more minor characters like Naria, Mukara, Arago, the youja soldiers, etc. I think this one of Arago has to be my absolute favorite, though. It just kills me every time I see it. (No pairings/warnings.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers/Original - Himuro no Sakura [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Eeeeeeeeee! Tachibana Kaimu-sensei's page!!! (I think, I don't think it was a fan page...?) No matter how many other artists I see, I will always have a special place in my heart for her drawings, becasue they're just... gorgeous. The colors, the hair, the eyes, the delicate look (without being all skinny-stick-spider-freaky).... *happy sigh* Most YST fans know her from her work in those Laim Company anthologies, which is where I first noticed her work as well, but her work is beautiful enough that I really, really, really want to get into her original manga more. From what I understand, not only is she incredibly talented, she also has a wicked sense of humor, which makes me wish more people would translate her work. *hearts*
Here's how much I love her work... I headed directly for the original work first before delving into the fanart/doujinshi work she does. Even though there's YST illustrations here. +_+ *browsing through* ..... *GASP!* PRETTY SEIJI/TOUMA ILLUSTRATION!!! ....okay, I'm a dork, but I'm a dork who's happily staring at a beautiful illustration of one of her absolute favorite pairings by one of her absolute favorite mangaka/doujinshika. Like I care. ^_~ (No warnings.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - sakuyahime [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - It's been awhile since I've gone hunting for YST fanart, but I was so glad to come across this site because it's just... beautiful. *_* The details of the drawings are amazing (especially with the MESSAGE armor *_*), the lines and characters are gorgeous, the colors are wonderful, and the feeling the pictures evoke from me... is just absolutely perfect. The comics this artist does are just wonderful, I would be surprised if she was not a doujinshika--and, oh, there's this incredible illustration of Touma and Ryo with wings on this gorgeous blue background.... Just... this site brings back all those feelings of giddiness when I was just so in love with this series and it makes me so happy! Plus! Dude. Ryo/Touma. I. Love. That. Pairing. It doesn't happen nearly enough for my tastes, at least not done gorgeously like this site. I fawn with love. (Ryo/Touma.)
- Full Metal Alchemist/Samurai Troopers - HIOUTEI [ Japanese Fan Art Site ] - Wow, the art on this site is just... gorgeous, some of the illustrations of Ed are just amazing in the detail, the colors (which are incredible), and the lines/proportions. Some of them really verge on breath-taking, especially the detail in Ed's hair or the cool effect of falling leaves in one of the illustrations or Roy looking gorgeous or the one that's sunlight falling over Ed's shoulders while he looks down with a serious expression. Just... wow. And then I explored the site some more to find some incredible YST illustrations (the one of Seiji was just drop-dead gorgeous) and illustrations for just about every other series. This is one of those sites that I loved so much not only because the art was amazing, but because it had so many of the series I liked. Though, there weren't enough of most of them to rec besides FMA and YST, but there were Prince of Tennis, Saiyuki, One Piece, and Harukanaru Toki no Nakade illustrations there. (No real pairing themes.)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - SKY [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - There are only six YST illustrations on this site, but I don't think you understand just how much I love this site because it has genuinely well-done fanart for the series and it's Ryo and Touma! I almost never find any Ryo/Touma fanart! The style is very anime-esque, some of them get really, really close to the canon style and I love the solid coloring that makes it work even more. There are a couple more in the crossover/mix section and it's just. It's a cute little site with my favorite anime. ♥ (Possible Ryo/Touma, possibly totally gen?)
- Yoroiden Samurai Troopers - Ludlow Garage [ Japanese Fanart Site ] - I wasn't sure what to expect when I clicked onto this site, but the banner looked like it could be some intriguing art. So I started going through the gallery. And the very first illustration I saw was a really pretty golden/sepia-colored Seiji/Touma illustration and HELLO MY OLD FRIEND. ♥ The majority of the site is of various characters, there aren't really a lot of themes or a consistent focus here, but that illustration set me in just the right frame of mind. Actually, I like that the site does a lot of different stuff with different characters--the series of the MaShou look really cool, the traditional style for the Kayura illustration looked really fantastic, and some of the Touma illustrations have some amazing detail going on. I loved this site. ♥ (A little Seiji/Touma? But a lot of gen, too.)
